Ah, yesterday I finished this picture in my work-in-progress art style, I just didn't post it because I finished it late and I was exhausted and didn't have time-

So I'm posting it today! Plus, today was all over the place for me and I didn't even get a chance to draw (sadly this is how all my Wednesdays will go now until December I believe? Since my violin teacher changed it)

But umm, didn't wanna draw any of my (human-like) OCs just yet, so here!

Just a little explanation; our literature teacher allowed us to make mini films from any recommended book from her! ((in groups)) We picked this Highschool one (that has like--eight books? Geezus, I'm only reading the first since my two friends read them all xD) and it's called "Szent Johanna Gimi", translation would be "Saint Jane(?) High school"!

And uh, we all play different characters from it! I play two (will get onto them in a bit), R plays one because she's the protagonist and is everywhere mostly, En does....well she does basically all the teachers, plus a kid called Dave and this witch like woman/teacher?? E does two (thankfully the most b-tchiest girls, fits her perfectly eyy xD), J does two and the only guy from our group will play...one or two, dunno

Well anyways, I play the emo girl, and liTERALLY THE MOST POPULAR GUY IN SCHOOL. W h a t -

((I used a different shading for this! It won't be common, just wanted to try something different for once! Tell me what ya think of it, I'm still new to this kind of shading! ^^))

Virág is an actual Hungarian name, but the word itself actually means "flower", that's why I put it in the brackets there! I'm pretty certain Cortez is just a nickname this guy has and everyone calls him by, can't remember his real name xP

Their designs were mostly led to interpretation since the book doesn't give many descriptions, but my friend told me today that Cortez wears a hoodie....gosh dammit xD Doesn't matter! The star shirt for Virág was actually written which I found...really specific, but hey, you gotta let the reader know one way or another that she's emo-- (wait-)

Why did I get these two?

Well I always seem to get the guy roles, because I'm a lot less girly and am tall, so no surprise I got Cortez, and for Virág....

This was the convo between me and my friends,

"So there's this emo girl called Virág who can draw-"

"I'm sorry, did you say emo?"

"Yeah, and-"

"I CALL VIRÁG-"

I meann...I cannot just let one of my oblivious friends try to act like an emo girl when they don't know what they're like...I had to swoop in xD

PLUS, they're both the best drawers in the class. Virág is the second best, and Cortez is actually the best, which I found kinda odd since it's not normally a thing with High school stories that the popular characters are talented with art and such, but apparently he can draw really realistically, heh!

But overall, I'm proud of the picture! Yes, I changed the hands....I didn't like them in the practice sketch I did, so I went back to a really old hand style I had about....2-3 years ago? And I honestly really enjoy it!

Oh! Also the different body types are there (while it barely shows), the shoulder lengths are different, indicating Cortez's body is thin from top to bottom and Virág's gets thinner at the top!

Okay that was too much rambling xD

Gah...this week is gonna be difficult...on Friday we celebrate a German celebration called "Martins Tag" meaning "Martin's day" and we're gonna have to watch some performances and eat and drink, and then wander around the whole school in the evening (all students are going, so we wouldn't be alone) and sing some German songs tied to lanterns, most commonly,

So because of this tomorrow me and E are gonna bake some cookies which will take time, and on SATURDAY we have friCKIN' SCHOOL AAARGHHH
