We were sitting in awkward silence for a few minutes, when Louis spoke up. "Nathan?"

"My ex-boyfriend," I explained. "Right before I came on tour with you, we broke up."

He cringed. "Please tell me you're not talking about that guy from the wanted."

"That would be him," I said.

"Ugh," he groaned. "Continue."

I sighed. "I gave him a surprise visit only to find him cheating on me with my nemesis."

Louis scoffed. "What an asshole."

I looked down. "I just... I just can't date, Lou. I also went through a pretty hideous breakup with my other ex-boyfriend, Jai. I think I should lay off dating for now. Plus, we just met and-"

Louis interrupted my rambling by placing a small kiss on my lips. "Hey, it's okay. We can take it slow. Let's see where it takes us."

I didn't really want to do this, honestly. I didn't feel anything for Louis, at least not yet. But he likes me, and I just don't want to be a bitch by saying no. But this means I'd be a bitch for leading him on... Ugh, out of all the bands in the world, I just HAD to tour with One Direction. Thanks, Loretta.

Nonetheless, I smiled at him and said, "Okay."

He nodded. "All right, now time for bed. I want to take you somewhere tomorrow."

I laid comfortably in my bed, resting my head on my pillow. "Goodnight, Lou."

"Goodnight, love."

Love.

I woke up at around 8 AM the next day, still remembering last night with Louis. I feel awful for agreeing on trying to take us further when I don't like him that way, but I also didn't want to be rude by turning him down when I know fully well that he likes me. Maybe I should pretend to be sick so I don't have to go anywhere with him today.

I went into the kitchen for breakfast, and the boys were sitting at the table. "Good morning."

"Good morning." I yawned. "How long have you been up?"

"Since 6 AM," Zayn answered.

"Geez, how do you function that early?" I asked as I grabbed a bowl and filled it with fruit loops.

"We're used to it," Niall said.

Louis stood up from his seat and walked over to me, kissing my cheek. "Hey, Ari."

"Something going on between you two?" Harry asked.

"We're taking things slow," Louis told him.

I took my bowl of cereal and glass of orange and sat down next to Liam at the table.

"Eat quickly, we have to be at the place I'm taking you to by ten," Louis informed me.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked as I took a sip of my orange juice.

"That remains a secret," he says.

I internally roll my eyes. The whole "date setting being a secret" thing is cliché. It's overused in many books, and I'm not one for secrets and surprises.

After finishing my breakfast, I ran off to the room so I could get changed. Apparently, Louis followed me. "Ari!"

"You want to watch me change?" I laughed.

His face lit up. "Can I?"

"That was sarcasm," I told him.

"I knew that," he blushed. "I just wanted to tell you to where a disguise, since we're going out in public and we don't want the fans to know about us."
