My eyes widened and I let out a small gasp. "What?"
"Yep, he punched me," Harry repeated.
"Why?" I questioned. I knew Louis was acting different, but not this different. He went way too far.
He sighed. "Last night, we got into a fight."
I remembered how I heard voices last night while I was about to fall asleep, so that must have been them.
"About what?" I didn't really want to ask too many questions, but I was so worried and curious.
"He was telling me that he wanted to take things more quickly with you, and I told him it wasn't a good idea," Harry told me. "I guess he got really angry and... you know."
I shook my head. "I can't believe it... I have to talk to him again."
As I stood up, Harry grabbed my arm to sit me back down. "No! Don't talk to him yet... since he's acting like this. Let him relax and realize himself how much he changed."
I nodded. "You're right."
I took his hand and led him to the bathroom.
"What are you doing?" he asked as I dabbed the toilet paper with cold sink water.
"Helping you heal your black eye," I explained. "It must hurt like a bitch."
"Eh, I'm man," he said, playfully winking at me.
I snorted. "Yeah, right."
"You don't think so?" He gaped.
"Harry, you're like a cuddly teddy bear, you couldn't hurt a fly," I giggled.
"Wrong, the other day I killed a bug that landed on stage..." he said.
"But you felt bad," I finished his sentence. "Wow, you're certainly villain of the year."
"You could say that," he stated proudly.
"But seriously, this must hurt," I motioned towards the purplish bruise around his eye and I pressed the wet toilet paper onto it.
He winced a bit. "I guess so, but not as much as Louis' words."
"What did he say?" I asked softly.
"He said I was only protecting you just to get close to you... he said I'd use you for sex," Harry whispered. "But... but I wouldn't! I swear, Ariana, I'm not like that."
"I know you aren't," I said, still shocked by what he told me.
"I would never stoop to his level," he assured me.
I smiled. "You're a good guy, Harold."
He pouted. "Please don't call me Harold."
"Fine," I laughed.

We had finally finished another night of a great and LOUD concert, and I just got done showering. I was all sweaty from jumping around, and I'm sure the boys were too. Hopefully, they took a shower as well.
As I left the bathroom in only my undergarments and robe, I bumped into Liam. "Hey, Li."
We don't really talk much, but he's a really nice guy. Also has a great sense of humor. I should talk to him more often, we could be great friends. He seems shy around me though, but maybe he'll be more comfortable later in the tour.
"H-Hi, Ariana," he said. "Um, Louis wants to talk to you... he told me to tell you."
I nodded curtly. "Okay. Thanks, Liam."
I smiled at him and he returned the gesture. I walked towards the boys dressing rooms and saw Louis sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone.
I cleared my throat to get his attention. "Liam said you wanted to talk to me?"
I was still furious with him. I even considered not talking to him the whole rest of the tour. But that was stupid, since we are going to be living in a small us for a little while. If we didn't work things out, it'd be awkward for all of us.
Louis nodded. "Yeah."
I walked closer to him, crossing my arms. "Talk."
He sighed. "I know I have been acting different lately, and I wanted to apologize for my inexcusable behavior. I disrespected you and acted so rude towards everyone."
"Why were you acting like that, anyway?" I asked.
"I guess it was some sort of reaction to a newfound pressure," he said.
I rose an eyebrow. "Pressure?"
"I knew you didn't like me in the way of us being more than friends, but I wanted to try harder while taking things slow. It's difficult for me to maintain a steady relationship, it always has been. When I was all over you that day, I thought it was to impress you and maybe win you over..." he explained.
"Forcefully making out with me will not win me over," I pointed out.
He nodded. "Yeah, I realized. I realized that I insulted you, thinking that you were that type of girl who falls for that. I'm sorry, I know you're much better than that, you have so much respect for yourself and I like that. I also realized something."
"And what's that?" I asked.
"We should remain friends," he says "I don't think we were meant to be, and I guess for me it was just a little crush. You're a great girl and all, but I don't picture us getting married."
I laughed. "Yeah, friends it okay. But I'm still mad at you."
"For what?" he asked in confusion.
"You punched Harry," I said.
He looked down. "Oh, yeah."
"I don't care what your reason was-there is no reason-you shouldn't have resorted to violence against your own best friend," I lectured.
"I know, I sort of lost it," he said. "He didn't deserve it..."
I wanted to ask why he punched Harry, but I didn't want to start a fight. Plus, Harry already told me.
"But, we can put that in the past." I smiled. "Hug, best friend?"
He grinned and engulfed me in a bear hug. "Let's celebrate our rekindled friendship."
"How?" I asked.
"McDonalds!" he cheered and laughed.
"McDonalds it is," I said, remembering the start of our friendship with the unhealthy yet delectable fast food.

The "L" Word(Ariana Grande+1D Fanfic)
Fiksi PenggemarThe "L" word is honestly quite a dumb four-letter overused word if you ask me. But why do I feel it so much towards a certain 1D boy?
