Synopsis : You're on vacation on an amazing boat, but a certain  owl gets too drunk and you help him.

Ahhh, the sea.
A little too cold for your liking, but the sea still ! You had found a good "discount" for a ticket for the Seal Cruise, that a friend recommended to you to go on vacation on.
Surprisingly, you encountered a lot of people you knew when arriving for the sailing, like a certain hatted girl, or an irish owl you totally didn't become friends with.
You didn't bring much items with you, thinking there would be fun activities to do on-board, so there were only clothes, and your beloved pillow in your luggage.
The seals were adorable, too ! They always excused after making a mistake, and the way they spoke was enough to make your heart melt.
Once you finally arrived in your assigned cabin, you set down your (not-so) lightweight luggage on your bed and went off to take an overall look at the different rooms. You began by the garden, with beautiful flowers and plants, which was obviously heated, with the freezing temperature outside. You then went to the dining hall, dodging those un-securized tables, and took the elevator to the bridge.
When you stepped outside once again, you shivered and adjusted your puffy scarf around your neck, and continued around. You went down one of the ladders to the swimming pool and stayed near the "walls", not wanting any water on you.
You passed the bar, where was currently drinking a certain movie director, and opened the golden-lined doors leading to the child-care service. You were supposed to be a child to go in, but you ignored that and crouched down near the baby park where a bunch of cute owlets were "playing".
One even had the same hat as their grandfather(?) ! You observed them for a few minutes before deciding to go eat a bit, and went out.
You passed once again near the bar, but the Conductor was now almost passed-out drunk on the counter.

"A-Another shot !"
"But Mistew, I don't thwink you're in stwate of dwinking muwch mowe . ."

You approached the owl(?) and said :

"I think the seal's right, you should stop for now, y'know ?"
"I *hic* don't care !"

He replied, in a slurry Irish accent, between hiccups.

"I . .ugh . . don't feel so good . ."

He suddenly collapsed on the counter, passing out.

"Oh no ! Mistew ! Awe you owkay ?!"

You facepalmed and picked up the yellow bird, before telling the seal :

"I'll take care of them, don't worry !"
"Thwanks Mwiss/Siw !"

You waved goodbye at the small seal, and ran to the elevator, leading you to the corridor. You took one of the doors to the cabins' hall, and looked around searching for a "Conductor" name tag on one of the doors.
He mumbled things over your shoulder all the way through the search, but it was mostly uncomprehensible. When you finally found his cabin, you entered and laid him on the bed, and looked around for a bit.
He had brought clothes, but also some movie tapes and surprisingly, a camera. There was also a small bottle of alcohol on the nightstand.
You picked it up and put it out of his reach, in case anything happened. He mumbled a few more things, in which figured hiccups, but you heard your name atleast once.
You closed the door and crouched down near the bed to make sure everything was alright. After 2 minutes or so, you stood up and went to go get a bucket for him when he woke up, but you got interrupted by him saying in a slurred voice :

"S-stay . ."

You got surprised a bit, but you did as he said, and sat down on the bed next to him. He wasn't fully awake, and he was still obviously under the influence of alcohol.
You wondered just how many glasses of whiskey had he taken ? He took your hand from where he was, in a lose grip, and admitted :

"Y-y'know . .Yer a really nice person for staying with me and my d-drunk crap . ."
"It's no big deal, really !"

You blushed slightly at the drunk compliment, before he continued :

"I-It's a great thing the child-care on this boat ain't so bad . . I couln't have went at the b-bar with the lil' blighters, could I ?"

He hiccuped regularly between each sentence, and he seemed to get more and more tired, until he eventually fell asleep. You didn't want to wake him up by moving too much, so you eventually laid down besides him in the most quiet manner you found, and he snuggled against you in his sleep.
Even with the fact you hadn't  eaten yet, you just fell asleep, and the both of you weren't disturbed by anything, having pleasant dreams of the sea below.
