The Willow Maiden [Naruto]

{7} Forced Engagement

Tatsuya had taken Ruka back to the grass village and held her prisoner in his garden. Ruka was not allowed to leave, and just in case she decided to step out of the garden, Tatsuya had two warriors stand on guard. 

Ruka surrendered herself in order to keep her mother safe, and to make sure that the leaf shinobi wouldn't stop her, she had the roots from the ground pull Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi down to the surface, tying them to the dirt. 

All of this was for the sake of her mother. 

Ruka sits near a tree, holding her knees, while she looks up at the sky. It was still light out and Ruka had nothing better to do than to sit and watch hours pass by. 

Before she was thrown into this garden, she heard Tatsuya talking to the warriors. He said, "Do not let the maiden escape. If she attempts, show her no mercy. Nobody is allowed to touch but me~" 

Hearing those words made the maiden frown, knowing what he meant. He wanted her to bear his children so that they can be bound to each other forever. Just like in the song, "With her, I'll raise my children. With her, I'll live my life." 

Soon, he will be rule all of the grass village with the maiden by his side with her special abilities. Yet, it isn't what Ruka wanted. 

The slide doors to the garden opened, causing Ruka to look at the doorway to see Tatsuya. Seeing his face made her frown. Right here and now she wanted to kill him, but if she were to do so, the warriors would attack her, and she didn't want that to happen. 

"Why the long face, Maiden?" Tatsuya asks with a smirk. "You should be happy. Tonight is a special night for the two of us." 

"Why is it special. . . ?" Ruka asks in a low whisper as she looks down at her lap. 

"Because, my dear," Tatsuya walks over to the girl and grabs her wrist, yanking her up from the ground. "You and I shall we wedded tonight!" 

"S-So soon? Wh-Why?" Ruka's eyes wide. 

"Like I said, with your power, I can become the Kage of the Grass Village! And with you by my side, anything is possible!" Tatsuya grabs Ruka's face aggressively with a wicked smirk. 

Ruka pushes the man away and runs off, but not too far away from him. Turning around she says, "You said nothing about becoming your bride or ruling with you! You said as long as I came with you, no harm will be done to my mother! You got what you wanted." 

"Oh, you poor girl. I didn't tell you all of my plan, did I?" Tatsuya chuckles while walking over to the maiden. He grabs her wrist and pulls her to his chest. "I had other plans in mind once I have you. I also plan on using you to control this village. 

With your ability, I will have this village at the palm of my hand, and with you by my side, I will make sure everybody will listen, and obey me. As long as I keep you here, you belong to me. Which is why I need you for this plan to work." 

"Y-You're hurting me. . . !" Ruka whimpers as his grip tightens around her wrist. 

"I got all that I need for this to be a success. Now that you have the medicine coursing through your veins, making you able to walk freely outside of the forest, and with your powers still attached, you can bring terror into the hearts of this village! You to be my queen and partner, you will rule along side me!" 

"No!" Ruka breaks free from Tatsuya's grip and the thorns attack the man, only swatting him across the cheek, making it bleed a little. 

Ruka takes a few steps back, while holding her wrist, and stares at the mad man with fear. She knew he was obsessed, but not this crazy. The look in his eyes scared her.
