"What is this?" he asked the American as she set down a bento box on the desk, the classroom not quite full.
"I thought you might like to try something else that may suit your taste." She explained, "Since you finished off those cookies so fast I assume you liked them very much."
Indeed, Kyoya had finished the medium sized container in only a matter of days, four to be exact.
"Uh, yes, they were quite delicious, but you didn't have to go to all the trouble in making me something else..."
"No trouble really, I enjoy baking from time to time," she smiled, a sight that had become more common after she no longer had to hide from the flying balls of dirt that assailed her so often before, "I didn't really before, due to reasons, and finding my sweet tooth gone for some time ... but now I feel much better, and to be honest, I couldn't imagine my life without some sort of candy, cake or cookie... oh dear... I'm prattling aren't I?"
The girl had also become more talkative, less aloof, and more... happy. Though she was still the same quiet, hardworking girl when organizing, or hosting, or simply working on her studies. She new when the time to joke was, and when the time to be serious was. Quite mature in Kyoya's eyes was she, and full of surprises, surprises that he always seemed to like.
"It is alright," he smiled, |: I like seeing you this way. :| He admitted in English, so no one else would understand.
This made the girl blush, but only enough to lightly shade her cheeks. Saying a short goodbye she left the boy, the mystery of what was inside the bento box still not revealed. Peaking inside, he found a small fork in the first part, and two squares of brownies in the second. He could smell the spice simply rolling off of the dark pieces of baked perfection, and found them still warm.
"How early did she get up to make this?" He wondered, and took off a small edge, finding it moist, but not gooey. Kyoya closed the box as he popped the piece in his mouth, and smiled at it's flavor. (Y/N) took great care into making this, he could tell. Setting the rest in a bag he had set on the floor, the Vice President made a mental note to thank her later, and took out a paper and pen as the Professor made his way into the classroom.

It was lunch time, and (Y/N) had found her way to the Host club's usual spot, saying 'hi' to the occasional acqaintence. She sat on the opposite side of the table, in front of Kyoya, as had become custom.
"Your brownies were devine (Y/N)," He complimented, "I still have half of one if you would like it."
"Oh, no thank you," she declined politely, "I still have an entire pan at home."
"You should invite us over some time!" Hunny cheered from beside Mori, interrupting Kyoya from his question of how early (Y/N) had woken up to bake the treat.
"I would, but my schedule has been fairly busy of late," the exchange student said, "That and my apartment is quite a mess, so this week wouldn't be ideal."
"We could help you clean!" The twins said with a grin, to which (Y/N) declined with an amused smile.
"I have to go... one of the Professors wanted help in the classroom to set up a project."
She left, saying her last 'goodbyes', and Kyoya found that he missed her presence in front of him... it seemed, empty.
"Follow her."
