I watched as clouds perform a soft ballet
Greenest grass dissolving over plains
And waves lap softy, like a Claude Monet
That scene was sculpted by the smartest minds
Something's missing in this perfect world
Gaps in the matrix, uncreated
And so I left, and with sails unfurled
I changed what was anticipated
Alone I drifted, weaker by day
Then the hole expanded, at me it gnaws
But then I saw you, at the edge of the bay
And realized I was finally free
Flowing in the wind, my soul is not so alone
With you, my friend, I welcome the unknown
(a sonnet)
