Dark and Anti are having a dinner date, at home, and things escalate after joking around.

He loved to bring out this side of Dark.  He was usually so caught up in working, and he never seemed to be relaxed or carefree.  Tonight, Anti managed to make him laugh, and not only that, but he shared jokes as well.  It was all heartwarming, really.  To Anti, at least. Whenever he was able to get Dark like this, he opened up more as well. Well, not really open up, but he became more. . .himself.  Dark was more affectionate - mushy, as they say - and that was one of the many things as to why Anti loved him so much.  If he's put in the right situation, Dark can be quite the lover boy.

Currently, they were sitting across from each other at their dining table.  There were a few candles in the center, and plates of somewhat fancy home-made food.  They had already finished about half of it, but they got carried away with talking to each other, so their eating pace slowed a bit.  Dark was the one that arranged this whole thing.  He noticed how much Anti was doing in order to make him happy, so he decided to return the favor by arranging a romantic dinner.

The two shared a laugh from Dark's recent joke, and Anti's eyes lit up once he thought of one.  One worthy of comedy diamond, he thought.  A smile formed on his face. "What does tofu and a dildo have in common?"

The mention of the toy caused Dark to choke a little on the wine he was in the middle of swallowing.  He quickly recovered and he chuckled, even though the punchline hasn't been delivered. "I don't know." He smiled at the sight of Anti's smile growing a little.  Anti put his elbow on the table, winking and pointing at Dark as he said, "They're both a meat substitute."

Dark snorted, not being able to stifle any noise, and he started to laugh.  So much, that it brought tears to his eyes.  This wasn't because of this one joke, however, he had just hit his breaking point from every previous joke that was told.  This was the one that sent them both overboard.  Dark kept laughing as he wiped tears from his eyes, and Anti did the same with himself.  After they finished laughing, they caught their breaths, and giggled at times as they regathered themselves.  Then, they both carried on with finishing their dinner, smiling at each other once they made eye contact.

When they decided that they were done eating, they both stood up and helped one another clean up the kitchen.  While they tidied up, they shared some small talk. "Have you ever thought about stand-up?" Dark smiled as he asked Anti, and the other demon laughed shortly. "Comedy?  Please, I'd rather be sitting down." He smiled at his reply, only smiling more when it earned a laugh from Dark.  No comment was needed from Dark to confirm Anti's humor, it was obvious that he honestly thought that he was funny.  Dark soon spoke up again. "Maybe you should look into that some time, I think you'd be spectacular.  While we're at this topic, you should right some of your jokes down, especially the tofu one."

"I knew you'd like that one," Anti smiled and chuckled. "Given the fact that you like dirty jokes." He smiled again as Dark kissed his cheek.  They dried both of their hands off when they finished washing the dishes, and Dark responded to Anti's comment. "You know I do~ Do you want to hear one of my favorites?"

"Yeah, sure.  Lay it on me."

     "Somebody fell in the mud."

Anti rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but give a small laugh. "Oh, you're funny." He smiled as Dark laughed. "Not as funny as you are!"

After a few minutes, they changed into their choice of sleeping apparel.  Anti was in baggy, black sweatpants — actually, they belonged to Dark — and a loose, black T-shirt.  Dark was wearing thin, plaid pajama bottoms and a form-fitting, white tank top.  They both made themselves comfortable on the couch, snuggled together in one of the spare blankets that they had lying around, and they each had some dessert.  Cake and ice cream, as requested by Anti.  They were also watching a movie, but they quickly lost interest since they already knew what happened.  So, instead of paying attention to the TV, they talked more.  This time, it wasn't all completely jokes, it was some sweet-talking and heartfelt conversations.
