Slowly but Surely (Peter Parker x Harry Osborn Fan fic)

Chapter 7

Prelim exams just finished and Peter was so happy that he studied hard. He's confident with his answers and is sure that he'll pass.

Peter always studies hard even without the exams because he wants to maintain his grades and not lose the scholarship.

Harry on the other hand, always did some light reading since he knows for himself that he's going to ace his exams even without fully studying. He prioritizes partying or not partying, he go out on dates or do one night stands.

That's just Harry's life is. He enjoys it that way. Well sure, he enjoys it but deep inside him, he knows that there's something missing. He enjoys sleeping with girls but that's it. Its like he's usual routine and it doesn't even makes him happy or satisfied.

That cycle goes on as they've reached their sophomore year in college. Harry is still the same, and so is Peter. But the only difference is, Peter wants to get close to Harry since on their freshmen year, they've established that they're friends.

Peter didn't know but he's always drawn to Harry. Like he wanted to be with him.

But of course, Peter sometimes resist himself not to talk to Harry since, they have different cliques. Harry is getting more and more popular day by day as new freshmen students gets to know him. Every girls who sees Harry instantly falls for him. He's that charismatic.

"He is, isn't he?" Missy said as she and Peter was at the cafe doing some reading and well, doing catching up as well.

"Yes, and a lot of girls have been following him lately" Peter said back. Missy and Peter had gotten close too and Missy, well, for a year, she'd develop a crush at Peter. Peter's kind, thoughtful and always there for Missy whenever she needs him. It's like, Peter is her knight and shining armor. He's always there in one text.

"And that dude has been partying all weekend, does he ever study?" Missy asked as Peter shrugged "Well, I don't know. At least he doesn't held parties at his room anymore, I could study well at my room now" Peter chuckled.

After they've finished their food at the Cafe, Missy and Peter went back to the University. And as usual, Peter will take Missy back to her dorm and it's been like this since they've started to hang out as friends.

Peter taking Missy back to her dorm is like a courtesy now and that Missy's a girl so Peter thought to become a gentleman to her "Thanks again, Peter" Missy said once they're already at the entrance of her dorm. She looks at his eyes and blushed seeing his beautiful brown eyes.

Peter nodded "No problem Missy, have a good night" Peter smiled at her but then Missy stepped closer to Peter and she looked up to him giving Peter confusion on what she was doing.

Missy then tiptoed and kissed Peter on his cheek and after that, Missy shyly smiled and directly walked straight to the dorm. Peter stood there, stunned. Did Missy just kissed him? That's the first she'd made a move like that.

So intimate "so natural?" Chad said. Peter told Chad what happened and Chad just laughed "You're friends Pete, most of my girl friends do that to me" Chad explained as he gather all his clothes and put it on his bag.

Chad already graduated college last year so he's leaving the dorm and gave it all the room space to Peter "Oh, is that so?" Peter mumbled as Chad smiled and went to sit beside Peter "Don't think too much, okay? I'm no longer here to think stuff for you" Chad ruffled Peter's hair as Peter smiled "I'm gonna go―" Chad said as he sling his bag on his shoulder "Do good on your studies Peter" he added as Peter nodded "Good luck out there" Peter said as Chad wave a hand and exited the room.

And Peter is now alone on his room.

After Chad gone, Peter decided to go back to the cafe because he was feeling all alone. He'd already missed his roomie. He's not use to the quietness of their room. Chad usually is the loud one, always listening to music. As Peter sat at the cafe, he thinks of what will happen to him on his remaining years in college.

He was sipping hot coco and letting his mind wander when the door of the cafe opened. Peter don't mind the customers who are coming in and out but when his ears caught an annoying sound, a girl giggling he looked up to see who entered.

Peter's breathing hitches seeing Harry, with a blonde girl beside him. Harry's hand was on her waist as the girl keeps on giggling and giggling. Peter almost choke his drink when he saw Harry's head turn to him and their eyes locked.

Harry gave a smirk as he went to Peter "Well, its not exams, but you're studying?" Harry said as Peter just stared at him. Its been months sine he last saw Harry and wow, he has gotten a lot more beautiful. Peter looks at his blue eyes, his pointy nose and pink lips and his golden hair had gotten longer too and still so silky and smooth. Now Peter understands why the ladies are head over heels for him.

After they've established their friendship, this is the first time that Peter saw Harry, and even talked to him. When Harry realizes that Peter's just staring at him, his smirked faded and he suddenly feels his heartbeat quickens and he can feel hotness creeping through his cheeks and that his cheeks began to blush because from Peter's stare.

Peter noticed that he was staring too much so he immediately look away and cleared his throat "Uh―yeah" Peter said as Harry stood straight and rubbed the back of his neck "Yeah, I'm going. I mean, I need to get back" Peter said as he started to stand. Harry didn't say a word though, he was supposed tease or insult Peter but none came.

Peter took a sip of his chocolate one last time before walking past by Harry and exited the cafe. He ran towards the university and inside the dorm and when he reached his room, his heart was palpitating so hard. He knows that is not from his running. He knows that this palpitation is coming from Harry. Seeing him again gave him butterflies in his stomach and his heart couldn't stop beating like crazy!

He touched his face and he can feel his cheeks getting hotter. What is this? And why is he feeling this way?!

After Harry and the girl finished their dessert, Harry took the girl back to her dorm. He was supposed to get some action tonight but seeing Peter, staring at him with his big brown eyes and his cute face, that's all he could ever think about.

Sure, the girl whined because everybody wants to sleep with the Harry Osborn but he wasn't feeling it.

He went back to his dorm and sighed before plopping on his bed. He closed his eyes and empty his thoughts and upon Emptying them, he's seeing a black vision but then, Peter's face popped out. Harry then opened his eyes and sat on his bed "What the fuck?!" He shouted. Why is he seeing Peter's smiling face all of the sudden?!

On the upper room, he didn't know that its also giving the same reaction. Peter woke up the next day and yawned. He feels like he's so tired. He hadn't got any good sleep last night because his mind can't stop thinking about Harry. He doesn't want to think about him but his face just keeps on popping on his head.

He can't stop thinking about his beautiful blue eyes, his porcelain smooth skin, his perfectly shaped lips and when he smiles, Peter's heart wanted to melt on how angelic he smiles. Peter's eyes widens and his heart beat thumps, oh no, he might be attracted to him!

This can't be.

Harry's a man...he couldn't be attracted to a man, right?!

Despite feeling this, Peter went to his classes and after that, Missy asked him to hang out on their uni park. Peter was all troubled thinking about his sudden realization on liking Harry romantically.

"Hey" Peter's body jolted as he saw Missy looking at him with concern "Are you alright?" Missy asked as Peter gave a long sigh "Just...having some thoughts" yeah, thoughts about Harry.

"Say, you're a girl...have you ever have girl crushes?" Peter asked as Missy thinks and smiled "You know Elizabeth Gillies? The girl who can sing and has the smoothest white skin? I like her" Missy replied "Do you have fantasies about her?" As soon as Peter asked this, Missy's cheeks blushed "I only like her as an artist, I admire her but I don't have romantic fantasies about her. I only think about yo—" Missy stopped her tracks as she was about to say she likes Peter. Her eyes widens and slowly looks at Peter waiting for her to finish her sentences.

Missy shifted uncomfortably on her seat as she wanted to face palm. She suddenly stood that startled Peter "Sorry, I got to go!" She said as she turned around and leave "Missy! Wait!" Peter stood too but seeing Missy already ran, he lets her go.

What was that all about?
