Slowly but Surely (Peter Parker x Harry Osborn Fan fic)

Chapter 21

Its been days past and Peter can't contact Harry. Peter hasn't been sleeping well since. He doesn't know where to find Harry.

Peter also rechecked the University website as Harry's name is no longer found. Peter also went to the admin office and ask about Harry and the lady behind the computer told him that Harry Osborn dropped out. Peter's heart suddenly cracked hearing her say he dropped out.

Peter doesn't know what else to do! They tried searching for him on the university grounds, even on apartments just near their university but Harry wasn't seen. Peter was in the waiting shed just outside the university when he heard his phone ring and seeing the caller's name, Peter's heart beat fasten and his eyes widened.

He pressed the green button and answered "Hello Doctor Osborn" Peter said "You're my last resort Peter, have you seen my son?" Norman asked as Peter's body jolted "I've been looking for him too Doc, I can't find him" Peter wanted to cry, where is Harry?!

"I also heard from the University that he dropped out" Norman sighed "And tracing his accounts, his tuition money was transferred to you" He added as Peter's heart thumped "His tuition money?" Peter repeated "He knows that if I cut off your scholarship, you got nothing. No money for school. Maybe that's why he transferred his tuition money to you, so that you could finish college" Norman explained as Peter gulped "I uh—"

"He loves you that much Peter, that he sacrificed his opportunity to finish college for you" Norman piped in "I never knew he'll go that far for someone"

Peter was speechless and at the same time, touched. Harry seriously went that far for Peter. His heart started to gain some hope. If Harry can do such a big thing for Peter, he must too! He won't give up! He better find Harry.

"Thank you for letting me know...I won't stop looking for him" Peter said "Thank you Peter. And I'm sorry" As soon as Norman said this, Peter's heart palpitates "I know this was all my doing...If I hadn't been a bigot and let you two together, this wouldn't have happened"

"Doc, I understand your views but I'm against it. I love your son so so much...if you won't fund my college, that's fine...if you want to take away my reserved position at Oscorp, that's fine too but please, don't take away Harry from me"

"Wow, you're doing that all for him?" Norman asked as Peter inhaled and exhaled "Yes Doc. I can find a job that will get me through college but I can't find another Harry Osborn...he's my happiness and I can't lose my happiness" Peter answered as the line got quiet. Peter removed the phone from his ear and look if the line got disconnected but they're still connected.

Peter put his phone back on his ear again "Doctor?"

"Please find my son, Peter" and with Norman's last words, the phone beeped.

After their call, Peter rethink of other places where he can find Harry. Where else can he go? Peter then thought of the Osborn mansion. There are no more places he can think of so he better try the mansion.

Peter traveled all the way to Oscorp's mansion. He doesn't know if Harry is there but he got to try and look for him. Peter must do his best and with his best effort to look for Harry because he can't bear to lose him.

When he finally made it to the mansion, Peter slowly walked towards the main door and knocked. Peter waited and after a minute, the man in suit opened the door and this was their butler. The butler didn't say a word when he saw Peter. He just opened the door and led him in. Peter directly went to Harry's room and check every corner and every inch looking if there are traces of Harry and seeing his bed, it seems that Harry hadn't been here.

"He's not here, Sir Parker" Peter's head whipped and saw the senior maid, Maria. Seeing Maria, Peter's blood suddenly boiled. She's the reason why all of these happened! She ruined it!

"You should thank me, you know" she said as Peter looks at her with confusion "If it wasn't for me, Master Norman wouldn't have known about you two and for sure, you won't even tell him about your relationship. He's going to be kept in the dark forever" she added as Peter sighed. She's right. If she hadn't told Norman, he wouldn't known at all. If Harry and Peter will keep it to his father, there's a possibility that they won't tell him at all.

They'll be living in fear for being in a relationship.

Peter didn't responded as he got out of Harry's room. He walked through the hallways and think. If he's Harry, where could he go? Peter also checked the guest room but still, no Harry. He kept on roaming the mansion when it struck him, the tower!

Its the only place where its peaceful, where its calm. Harry's probably there. As Peter was climbing up, he prays he's going to see Harry there. When he finally reached the top of the stairs, he took a deep breath before opening and went inside.

He went further inside the room and when made it towards the telescope, his heart beat quickens and his inside shake seeing a comforter and some pillows. A ray of hope wash into Peter as he's sure that Harry is here! When he looked towards the window, his heart melted and his entire being felt calm seeing Harry seating near the window and staring at the horizon.

Peter slowly walked towards him "Harry?" He called as Harry's head whipped and when he saw Peter, his eyes widened "Peter!" he answered as Peter began to ran towards him and pulled him into a hug "I've been looking everywhere for you!" Peter said as his eyes started to cry.

"You...you shouldn't be here" Harry whispered as he was shocked that Peter found him. Peter gently pushed him so he can see his face and gave his cheeks a sweet caress "Why did you do that?" Peter softly asked "You dropped out of college and even transferred your tuition money to me...you shouldn't have done that!" Peter added as his eyes were in tears.

Harry gave a small smile as he's also in verge of crying "I love you Peter, and I'll do anything for you. I know you want to finish your college so bad, so I did what I have to do—" Harry's tears began to fall "—I don't care what will happen to me, as long as I know that you'll be happy"

From his answer, he can't believe that Harry has become this selfless. When they'd first met, he was cocky, arrogant and selfish but now, Peter can see how Harry had changed. Peter leaned his forehead to Harry's "I love you so much Harry...I may lose all of it but what's important is I won't lose you" Peter answered as he leaned in and planted his lips to Harry. Harry closes his eyes as he kissed Peter back.

They parted as Harry gave a small smile "I love you Peter Parker..." Harry said "Harry, I want you to tell the office to transfer back your tuition money on your account"

"Peter, no...I want you to finish your college"

"Its okay...I will find a way to pay for it. I will take student loans or get a job" Peter answered back as he saw Harry pouted "Hey, its okay" Peter whispered as he ghosted his lips on Harry's lips "I will find a way...you have to finish college too" Peter said as Harry stared at him "And don't worry, I'll find a way. As long as we're together, I will find a way" Peter added.

And yes, Peter swear he will find a way to finish his studies and be with Harry because to be with Harry is now one of his goals.
