Third povKatsuki and Mitsuki sat in the hospital impatiently waiting for someone to tell them how Shiyoko was doing. Some police had appeared a while ago and had asked to speak with Mitsuki. Katsuki couldn't hear much but from the curses he picked up that was spewing from his mother's mouth it couldn't have been good.
After that Mitsuki sat beside him silently fuming as she glared heatedly at the nervous officer sitting opposite them also waiting on news about Shiyoko.
After what felt like forever to Katsuki, which was in fact two hours, a doctor approached them.
"Bakugo?" He asked. They shot up nodding
"Yes, that's us. How is she?" Mitsuki asked.
"We stopped the bleeding and fixed her arms. We tried our best to keep her out of a coma but her head injuries were worse than we thought. She won't be in a long one, that's for sure, but we have no idea when she'll wake up. It could be days, weeks, for the longest a month but she will wake up. " He told them. Mitsuki frowned eyes filled with tears but she bit onto her finger stopping herself from crying.
"Thank you for telling us." The officer answered when he realised that they seemed to still be processing the news. He tipped his hat before he turned to leave.
"Hey! What the hell were you here for?!" Katsuki asked eyes narrowed in suspicion.
"I was here to check up on Shiyoko-chan, to relay a message to the person that allowed your mother to adopt her as long as she was helping her adjust to being a child again." He explained.
"And!?" Katsuki asked. The officer sighed.
"Sorry but...I can't tell you what's happening right now, nor do I have a say in this. I'm just the messenger today." With that he walked away leaving Katsuki annoyed and confused.
Hearing two pairs of small footsteps running in his direction Katsuki turned to find out what it was when he saw two people he did not want to see at the moment. Minato and Hiroshima.
"What the hell are you two fuckers doing here!?" He snapped instantly.
"We didn't come here for you! We came here for Shi-chan!" Minato snapped back.
"Where is she? Is she going to be okay? How bad is it?" Hiroshima asked Mitsuki staring up at her with worried filled eyes.
Mitsuki sat down passing a hand over her face. Today has been stressful and now with the chance that Shiyoko might be taken as soon as she wakes up, adds onto how drained she already felt. Looking down at the two worried boys Mitsuki mustered the best smile she could at the moment.
"She's going to be okay. She's resting right now." She answered. They sighed but then Hiroshima frowned looking up at Mitsuki.
"They're going to take her away aren't they?" He asked shocking both Bakugo's.
"What!? How did--!?"
"It's happened before. If officers deem the kid unhappy where they are, they get moved. If the parents or their actual child or children don't treat them right and it's affecting them badly, they get moved. An event like this, can make them want to move Shiyoko." He explained.
Katsuki stared down at Hiroshima with wide eyes before he slowly turned to look at his mother.
"That's not true right? They aren't taking her away, right!?" He asked but Mitsuki couldn't look at him.
"It's true... they're taking her..." she whispered but they all heard her clearly. Hiroshima grimaced and Minato frowned sadly.
"They can't take her away just like fucking that!!" Katsuki snapped.
