Somewhere in a small town called MELODIA in VIOLLANDA , which means the land of violins, in 17th century was called (THE LAND ART
VIOLLNDA is a kingdom; it's located in northern Europe and has twelve cities, seventeen regions and eight towns including the town of MELODIA. DELBERTO is its capital., It means the shining valley and was named after KING DELBERTO who had fallen in love with music.
VIOLLANDA's area is (2.000.780) square meters and its population is over than seventy million (70.000.000)., The climate is mild and clear. The land had so many musicians, artists, libraries, and an opera. It had a lot of science, knowledge and art.
MELODIA comes from melody. Its area is over than (20.950) square meters and its population is four hundred thousand (400.000. The climate is always sunny, clear, and mild and in the winter it becomes a bit cold.
MELODIA had many music buildings, art schools, music shops and art museums. It was the main center of music and art. Everyone came from different countries to learn real music and art.
This town was full of art and musicians, and at every part or corner people played musical instruments and listened to it. Everybody in this town was happy, dancing, singing with smiles on their faces.
The days were flowering and bright. It was as if the sun had never known sunset until gloomy days came and with them came darkness and KING PETER.
In the 19th century KING PETER appeared and became a king in VIOLLANDA. The full name of the king was PETER AXTON DEMPSTER KENDRICK.
This king had no idea about art or music. He was 38 years old when he took his father's place, who had died of Alzheimer's diseas. PETER was the only heir to the kingdom, so he had to take over the throne.
PETER was strapping, arrogant, greedy, and firm.He had a long thin nose, long white hair, blue eyes, red cheeks and a big nevus on the right cheek. He was cruel, violent and had no mercy, as if the evil came out from his eyes. He destroyed everything in this town including music shops, museums, schools and music buildings. Moreover , he passed a law that strictly prohibited the use of any musical instruments and that threatened those who dissented with execution.
When the people of MELODIA heard that they were deeply saddened and had to give up music so as not to be executed. And yet a lot of them refused and were determined to play music. The king knew that and ordered the guards to bring and execute them immediately.
Many people died because defending the source of their lives and their power. Most of them lost their families, others had to immigrate to another country, and others refused to immigrate and insisted on staying in their homeland and defend it against injustice.
KING PETER thought that music was a waste of time and nonsense. After he destroyed the town, he ordered his men to build factories and to farm the land. The town had been turned into industry and agriculture land instead of music and art land.
Not only had MELODIA changed but also VIOLLANDA. He made VIOLLANDA an industrial and commercial country. With time everybody forgot music, and all of those who still remained in the country were transformed from artists to factory workers.
After two years....
PETER'S personal servant, who was called Raven, came to his royal suite .
RAVEN was the highest ranking servant; he was arrogant like his king, tall, had dark skin, and dark brown eyes; was hairless, greedy, wicked and about twenty five years old.
He rushed to the room, then he smiled and bowed to the king.
"My lord I have good news today." RAVEN said.
"Tell me RAVEN, what is the good news?" PETER said with a little smile and a calm voice.
"Mr. RONALD sends a letter from the ministry to your...majesty" RAVEN said
Mr. RONALD was the finance minister of the country.
"And what does he say in it...RAVEN?" PETER said
"He says: Congratulations your majesty, the economy has risen in the country and the income has also increased. Things are going well and we shalll receive a lot of money because of the deal your majesty had made with SCOTCHOVIA.
I hope your majesty is in good health and that you shall always be a successful and most honorable king ." RAVEN said.
Here he finished reading the letter to the king.
"Congratulations your majesty, I hope you are happy now after hearing such good news." RAVEN said.
"Thanks RAVEN, I'm really happy now." PETER said with a smile.
"I don't understand how a poor people can be so stupid as to refuse money and desire nonsense instead; I have made this country into a heaven and I made this stupid town....what is it called RAVEN?" PETER said
"Which town you mean your majesty?" RAVEN said
"I made this town into a center of industry." PETER said
"OH!! You mean the town of MELODIA your majesty" RAVEN said with a little smile.
"Yes, this town will bring us a lot of money, and I will be the only rich man in this country." PETER said
