WAITE took his GUARDS and went to MELODIA with their horses; he took all the men and young people and he told them that these were the king's orders . When the people heard that they freaked out and women begin crying and wiling.
They were afraid THE KING would do just as he did before, especially that it was only a short while ago that the king had killed many of the townsfolk.
"Do not worry , THE KING wants from all of you to have a good job and this job will make a lot of money and everybody inside or outside this town will be rich." WAITE said
After hearing this news people cheered and relaxed, but some of them did not believe this because they knew the KING'S real desire and how greedy he was!
The questions and answers began in their minds.
"How we could we believe him after what he did to our husbands and families?" one of the ladies who stood in the street said
"We all know how greedy THE KING is! We cannot trust him." Another lady said sorrowfully.
"But we cannot do anything and we do not have any solution, and we cannot object. You know he is THE KING if we object to it he will execute us!" one of the ladies said
"We do not have anything to do except watch them get hurt." The lady said with pity
WAITE took his GUARDS and the men; then they left and went to the vast land in the town and began to explore and look for gold.
WAITE and most of his GUARDS were looking for DELBERTO'S house. Then they found a small house with a big farm; they began to dig the ground with an axe. The people who were in the house heard noises coming from the outside; they became confused because no one ever came to this place . They went outside to find the cause of the noise;;they found the big boss and his guards digging the ground. They hurried up to them and requested them to stop.
The only people still living in the house were an old man, his wife, and their grown up son.
"Greetings, my name is WAITE and I have orders from THE KING to look for something in this place, but I did not expect that someone lived here because, especially after KING DELBERTO's death " WAITE said
"Greetings, sir, our ancestors were related to KING DELBERTO who in his will was asked our ancestors to keep the house and never overdo it." THE OLD MAN said
"But why did THE KING want that?" WAITE said
"Because he loved it so much as it belonged to his wife" THE OLD MAN'S WIFE said
"That's it.... You have nothing else to say?" WAITE said
"Yes sir, we do not have anything else to tell." THE OLD WOMAN said
"Please allow me to have a look inside the house." WAITE said
"Although you will not find anything, you are welcome to enter." THE OLD MAN said
"Thank you sir" WAITE said
WAITE and two GUARDS entered the house and began to look for any gold.
