Peter POV

I hadn't been able to take it all in, so much had happened, too much... but it hadn't felt wrong. It had felt like a whirlwind of colours and events, all whizzing past me at high speeds. I was pretty battered and bruised but I wasn't going to stop.  Mr Stark needed our help. MJ and I were going to help him.

I didn't have much information on this guy. There was an alien dude that seemed as if he had stepped out of Spongebob movie wanting some stone -maybe an infinity stone- from another quippy wizard with a grey quiff. He was with Mr Stark although they did not seem more than bearable acquaintances.

Having just had one of the biggest fights of my life (excluding the vulture of course), I released MJ kicked ass out there. And now we were both on the circular hunk of metal that was heading through the atmosphere. It was lucky that my suit enabled me to breathe at such a high altitude - MJ's did the same.

Anyway, Mr Stark wasn't on my best side as he'd just told FRIDAY to send me home, spoiler alert  I wasn't going home... this was my chance to prove myself. I had just climbed aboard the rapidly ascending ship and beckoned MJ to do the same. I doubted Mr Stark would want to see us after we had disobeyed direct orders, but I was willing to take the brunt of it up front for the both of us - for this reason, I went first.

The ship was made of a strong metal that had been broken and chipped in many places therefore not keeping the glossy coat you would expect from a spaceship. Now in a small air right container, I had to blow away the layers of thick dust which in the limited space caused my eyes to water intensely. When I finally found the appropriate flap I used all my force the wedge it open just enough so that I could climb through.

I shot a glance back at MJ who was waiting just outside the translucent glass that was on the other side of the metal container I had just been through. The glass was misty with the dust I had blown around yet her smile still shone out as I felt my heart beat start to quicken.

It was stupid, we were dating - if you could call it that- yet I still couldn't get over how beautiful she really was. It was as if I could get lost in the pools of her eyes at any given moment and just sink there. She had some sort of power over me.

But now wasn't a time to crush on the girl I still couldn't believe was mine - now was a time to move. And that's what I did. Thinking the ship was bigger, I clung tightly to a metal pole holding the ship up and rose to scale the walls. It took only a matter of seconds for me to find Mr Stark; he wasn't the most secretive man

As I neared closer I released he was talking to a cape. I had to blink many times to make sure what I was seeing was real and even then I still didn't really believe that such a thing could exist but I vowed to myself that I would not pay to much attention to it until this was all over.

"Wow you are seriously a loyal piece of outerwear aren't you?" Mr Stark mumbles as the cape slaps him.

This was my chance.

"Yeah, uh speaking of loyalty" I drop down to see him turn and curse under his breath "I know what your gonna say"

"I don't wanna hear it" he intervenes just like I had thought he would

"I was gonna go home" I continue, trying to get way too many words out at once

"Now I've gotta hear it" he sighs impatiently.

"Well, it was just such a long way down. What's going on over there" I ramble trying to divert the situation.

He looks in the direction I'm pointing down below to see the wizard dude from earlier being pierced by an array of thin glass- like needles piercing his pasty skin.

"Shit" he whispers before going to get a closer look from above. "Kid what's your plan" he puts me in the spot

"Uh" I stammer "There's this old movie... wait no.. that wouldn't work," I say awkwardly as Mr Stark stares at me like its some sort of test. After a long pause, I answer with the best response I have: "Do what we did with Cap, I'll come down and surprise this dude and then when he's off guard we attack "

He nods before blasting his way down the slope before nearly blasting the wizard to bits.. he would have done successfully -  if he hadn't moved at the very last second.

I was crawling on the ceiling waiting for the signal.. but the signal never came as the alien and Mr Stark fought in hand to hand combat. I watched them punch but when the Squidward resembling dude began to use his magic and I felt like I had to intervene.

I dropped down and nearly lost my footing in the moment- Jesus this was going badly. We were fighting but fighting badly and aimlessly. We weren't getting anywhere, I don't need to describe the fight - it was rather embarrassing.

That was when I heard a rather loud crash, both our heads turned. MJ. Tony flashed me a look of deep anger, almost seething, as I watched her shoot a web to swing above the bemused alien. He turned quickly on his feet but MJ was quicker as her legs punched right into his stomach and he fell back on to his butt.

"Why is she here?!" Mr Stark spat at me

"I was gonna tell you but-"

"Peter, remember aliens!" MJ shouts to me, alluding to an older film we watched together ages ago. This girl was a genius - that could actually work.

We had watched that film together, cuddled up on my sofa. It would have been something out of a romance movie if we hadn't been so engrossed in the film itself. I knew exactly what she wanted me to do.

"What is she talking about?" Mr Stark questioned like a confused dad

"She's just saving our asses with a plan we didn't think of. Just- just blow a hole in that wall there" I tell him

"What?" Remarks bemused.

"Just do it!"
