Yugo felt his stomach plummet to his feet as he heard Ruel mutter those words. "Ah... I- I see. Alright, let me get dressed. Do we have to leave immediately?" He asked Ruel, his voice shaky and hesitant. Ruel nodded. "You gonna be okay kid?" Ruel asked, a sad smile on his face. Ruel had been one of the first people to figure out there was something wrong. Ruel knew a lot about relationship problems, so he sympathized with Yugo and often talked to him about it. Yugo nodded gingerly. "Yeah. I think so..." He replied, holding his throbbing head. "Alright kiddo. I'll wait for you out here." Ruel said with a warm smile. Yugo smiles back, thankful for his old friend's help. He sighed and got himself dressed, pulling on his usual yellow and blue garments. His blue hat adorned his head as usual as he opened a portal and slipped through it silently, appearing next to Ruel. Ruel was sitting next to his strange drill, car contraption thing... did it have a name? Yugo wasn't sure. But nonetheless, the two got in and started off. "Hey, Ruel... Do you know why the king has summoned us?" He wondered, looking over at Ruel. Said man shook his head. "Nope. We'll just have to find out I guess." He replies, shaking his head gently. Yugo sighs. Great, that won't help his nerves. "Are Dally and Eva going to be there?" He asked, eyes lighting up at the thought of his friends and their kids. "Probably. The king said it was very important for all of Amalia's friends to be there." Ruel says. Yugo frowned, but could tell that Ruel was just as clueless as he was. "Okay. I'm gonna take a quick nap until we get there 'kay?" Yugo says, curling up in one of the seats by a window. Ruel hums, confirming that he had head the Eliatrope and continues driving with a small smile on his face. Yugo yawns and lays down, quickly slipping into a light sleep.
And once again his sleep was plagued with nightmares.
