You're Kidding...Right?

Levis POV

"Levi meet your new coworker." I stare at Erwin in disbelief.

"WHAT." Eren and I shriek, I glance down at him, he seems just as confused as I am. Hanji speaks up, 

"Aw looks like Eren doesn't want to partner with you Levi." His eyes grow wide,

"Wha-no-I didn't-" He is trying to find an answer that won't offend me, now that I look at him. He's actually pretty cute. And those eyes could captivate a siren, those colors, gold and silver in one and a mix of greens, blues, and purples in the other. The colors are brought out even more by his island tanned skin and autumn hair. His hair reminds me of a dying leaf in fall, dark browns mixed with reddish hues. 

He glances over and notices my staring, his gaze instantly drops to his lap a slight blush forming on his cheeks. Cute. "Aw Levi, how could you not want this cutie for a partner?" Hanji starts pouting, 

"Well, if he's any good, I wouldn't mind." Hanji squeals and then gasps, 

"OMG. Lightbulb! Erwin, is Mike here today?"He nods, "Yes" She then whips her head around to Eren, "Do you know the song Notre Dame De Paris?" Eren nods cautiously,

"The one the famous opera singer Mike Zacharias is famous for?" She nods "Yeah I know both parts." Hanji squeals and whips out her phone. 

"Mike, come to the recording studio." She hangs up before he can protest and yanks Eren out of his chair, grabbing my arm. She gestures for Erwin to follow and pulls us out of the office. 

Erens POV  

Hanji pushes me into the recording studio and I almost slam into a very tall man, I look up and guess who it is. Mike Zacharias. "Well hi there." 

"Uh, hi," I mutter out, Hanji drags Levi into the room.

"MIKE! You're gonna do Notre Dame De Paris with Eren." Mike glances down at me and raises an eyebrow.

"Uh, can he do that." 

"Trust me he can. You'll be doing your normal part, Eren you'll be doing the second male and female parts." I nod. We step into the studio and put on the headphones as Hanji types at the computer.  

Levis POV

(Mike is the one with the facial hair and Eren is the one in the black coat) 

Mike starts off his voice is deep, rich, and velvety, after a few lines, he reaches a mini crescendo but soon goes back down to the original notes. The syllables roll off his tongue, frankly, it's a very sexy song. He dies off and Eren picks up, my jaw drops, his voice is only an octave away from Mike's, his voice is deep and I can hear it rumbling in the back of his throat. There is a slight pause, he opens his mouth again and his voice jumped around three octaves, the belt almost throws me off my chair. He plays with the high notes, soon almost hitting a whistle. He then passes the run on to Mike and dies off. Mike sings alone for a few seconds before Eren comes back in, they are singing the same note but are multiple octaves apart. 

At the end of the run, Mike stops and Eren hits another incredibly high note. They go back to singing the lyrics and Erens voice has dropped yet again, not as low as before but still a major jump. As they continue the younger boys' voice steadily gets higher, they reach a part in the song that I recognize to be the chorus. Erens voice is around an octave, maybe more, above Mikes. They continue and they almost sound desperate, I'm guessing it has to do with the lyrics.  Their voices grow softer and soon Eren is softly bouncing back and forth between high notes, while Mike keeps lowly repeating a phrase over and over. Soon they die off and a loud bang is heard sounding like a gunshot.
