Hey, I don't own any of the music I'm using for the chapter.

Erens POV

After about twenty minutes the secretary's phone rings, she answers it, listens before putting it back in the receiver, "Eren you can go on it." I stand up and walk over to the large oak door, taking a deep breath, before opening it.

A very large burly man sits at a desk his hands folded in front of him. He smiles at me, "You must be Eren have a seat. The desk is very tall to accommodate his legs, and so are the chairs in front of it, meaning I quite literally have to climb into it.

Erwins POV

Eren is absolutely adorable, and if he can sing half as well live, as he did in the video, well let's just say the press will eat him up. He's so small that he has to physically climb into the chair, I choke down my chuckle and buzz for Hanji, she is the main worker in the sound and recording department. "Ok Eren the first thing I want to go over is the contract I want you to sign, I've already sent a copy to your mother and she has signed her part of it." He nods slowly, "I slide the piece of paper in front of him before you sign we are going to test how good you really are, we just want to make sure that someone didn't edit the video we saw." He looks like he is going to say something but keeps his mouth shut, at that moment Hanji lets herself into my office. "Eren this is Hanji, she is our recording  director, she is going to take you to the sound and recording studio." He nods and jumps off the chair, walking over to Hanji and shaking her hand.

Hanji POV

We're walking down the hall to the studio, and Eren is adorable! "Ok, so we're going to have you sing a bunch of different songs. You can choose, but we want a variety, so you can show how high you can go, how low you can go, how long you can hold a note, how strong your belt is.  Basic stuff like that." He nods as I explain. Once we get to the studio I direct him to the computer where he can pull up songs, he types for a moment and pulls up a french song. I nod and direct him into the recording part of the room, he puts on the headphones and the music starts.

Once it reaches a certain point he steps up to the mike, and holy moly. I recognize the song and realize that he has picked a version that is an octave lower. His voice is like butter, it's so smooth. The syllables roll off his tongue with practiced ease. I'm lost, he easily sounds better than the original version, with autotune. I check to make sure that there are no effects one, there aren't. Once the song ends he takes off the earphones and walks back over to the computer.

The music starts, WHAT THE FUCK. This song is in a completely different genre and requires a completely different voice type. He opens his mouth. WHAT THE FLYING FUCK! His voice's tone has changed completely and he sounds just like the original artist.

This song I don't recognize but the tone is different once again. His changes his tone from harsh and sharp to soft midline multiple times baffling me further.  For the rest of the song, I just listen it's a given he's going to impress Erwin, but for now, I just want to listen.

Erens POV

I've sung three songs so far, hoping to impress Hanji. But now It's time to bring out the big guns.

The second part of this piece is one of the most complicated in the world, let's just hope my voice doesn't crack.

Hanjis POV

The second the music starts I know what he's trying, I'm fairly certain he can do the first part but the second is next to impossible. It requires breath control, along with the lowest note being an F2 and the highest is an E natural. He gets to the intense part in the first part and his voice just about knocks me off my chair. Once it dies down he switches to a feminine voice. He's at the second part, Holy Shits, he's nailing it, how is he nailing it, only like three other singers can perform this piece. Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. I call Erwin he picks up on the second ring.

"How's he doing?"

"He's doing Diva Dance, and he's nailing it!" I hear silence for a moment before.

"WHAT!"

"I'm not kidding, listen to this." I pull the phone away from my ear so he can hear.

"Holy shit. Holy shit, HOLY SHIT! Once he finishes bring him to my office we are getting him to sign that contract!"

"Yes, boss." I hang up and enjoy the rest of the song.

Erens POV

Once I finish the song I'm whisked out of the recording studio, down the hall, and back into Erwin's office. He shoves the piece of paper at me along with a pen. "Sign, please. You are incredible and I don't want to lose a talent like yours." He's practically begging, I cautiously pick up the paper and read everything, even the fine print, before picking up the pen and signing my name as neat as I can on all the lines. "Out of all the songs I heard I think I want you to stick with songs like Diva Dance, it will attract the most attention." A list of songs already compiles in my head, SOS, Opera 2, Show Must Go On, Late Autumn, Adagio, Daididau, Daybreak, All By Myself, Unforgettable Day, I Miss You, Hello, Oh maybe I could do a duet for I Only Love You and Jasmine Flower.

Erwin stands up from his desk and opens the door to his office making gestures. The next thing I know Levi Ackerman is in the room, "Levi, meet your new coworker." Erwin says gesturing to me, my mouth drops.

"WHAT!" Levi and I scream at the same time.
