Erwin's POV

Long after Eren left, I sit at my desk, thinking, and after-hours finally coming to a conclusion. I grab my phone and call Hanji. "Hey boss what's up?"

"I've been thinking,"

"Well that's never good," I scoff at her,

"People in America aren't going to appreciate the music Eren creates, his style is worlds apart from everyone else at our company." Hanji is silent for a few minutes.

"I hate it when your right about stuff like this. What are you gonna do then, we can't just dump him, he's so talented."

"You think I don't know that? I have an idea though."

"And what would that idea be?"

"We can sign him to a South Korean music company, his style is much more accepted over in Asia. We can prep him here, then send him to be a trainee at BigHit!. It'll take about half a year for him to be totally prepped, and he'll be a trainee for at least 2 or 3 years, by then he'll be 15 or 16. Which is the perfect age to debut." Hanji is silent for a few moments

"How do you think his mother will react to your idea of sending her son halfway across the world?"

"I hope that she will understand that this is the best opportunity for her son."

"Good luck with that Erwin." Hanji hangs up, I exhale a breath I wasn't aware I had been holding. Setting down my phone, I lean back in my chair massaging my forehead. "How the hell am I gonna talk to Carla about this?"

----------

The morning sun streams through my windows, resting on the oak wood of my desk. I shakily grab my phone, preparing to call Mrs. Jeagar. After a few rings she picks up, "Hello Mr. Smith, what can I do for you."

"Hello Mrs. Jeagar, I have come to a realization."

"And that realization would be?"

"Your son's music can never truly be appreciated here in America."

"Oh?"

"Yes, his style is so incredibly unique and so different from anything else this company has released. And we don't believe that the public would accept it well. But we have a plan."

"And what would that plan be?"

"It is a very bold plan, that I don't think you'll like right away."

"Oh boy,"

"But please hear me out, I know for a fact that your sons music will be truly appreciated, not hear but in Asia. What we plan to do is sign him to BigHit! Entertainment, which is based in South Korea. We will prep him hear in the States for around half a year, then send him to Korea to become a trainee for around 2 to 5 years. Then he will debut, and I know for a fact that the Korean people will truly appreciate it in a way that Americans can't." It is silent on the other end of the line.

"May I please have some time to think about this?"

"Of course, I would never ask you to decide on the spot, please take all the time you need. Goodbye." I breathe a sigh of relief, setting down my phone and leaning back in my chair. At least she didn't scream her head off at me. I sit back up and get back to my paperwork.

Eren's POV

I get home from school, closing the front door and slipping off my shoes. I walk into the kitchen dropping my backpack onto the floor, I head to the fridge and pull out an apple. I sit down at the kitchen table, pulling my homework and sorting it into categories, I then start with the most important and work my way back to the least important.

Halfway through a worksheet Maman walks into the kitchen and takes the seat opposite from me. I look up at her, "What's up Mom?"

"We need to have a talk," I immediately start wracking my brain, trying to remember if I did anything wrong. "You didn't do anything wrong," I breathe a sigh of relief, " But I got a call from Mr. Smith today and there has been a new development. " I cock my head to the side, "He doesn't think that America will like your style of music, so he wants to send you to South Korea to become a trainee at BigHit! Entertainment." My jaw drops, BigHit! , oh my God this is like a dream come true!  Working with the same company that debuted BTS, I might faint!

"Can I do it, Mom?" She stares at me,

"Do you think it is the best option for you?" I quickly nod my head, she smiles sadly at me.

"Well, then I need to go make a call." I'm grinning like an idiot as she walks out of the kitchen.

Erwin's POV

At around 4:30 my phone begins ringing, I gulp seeing as it's Carla's number. "Hello, how are you Mrs. Jeagar?"

"I'm fine, thank you, I have discussed the matter with Eren and realized that this is the best thing for him, and I am willing to make sacrifices for his happiness and success."

"I am very happy to hear that and frankly a little surprised, but I will contact BigHit! as soon as possible, thank you very much for your corporation." I hang up and begin dialing Bang Si-Hyuk's number. "What can I do for you Erwin,"

"Listen, I have a boy who is an absolute genius when it comes to music, but I know that his style won't be liked here in America. I'll send you his tryouts, and could you please consider signing him to BigHit! ?"

"If he is at good as you say then there should be no problem, at long at you prep him before he becomes a trainee there will be no problems."

"Thank you very much!" I hang up and begin sending him the video files of Eren in the studio. Once the email is sent I can finally breathe. I begin composing an email to Carla.

Dear Mrs. Jeagar,

I wish to humbly thank you for allowing us to potentially sign your son to BigHit! Entertainment. I have spoken with the CEO personally and they are going to seriously consider signing Eren. Once again I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Erwin Smith
