Dinner

Your POV:

I wake up and slowly open my eyes. Looking around, I realize that I somehow ended up on the couch. Shu isn't here anymore so that's good. Would have been awkward if we were both sleeping on the couch. I get up, yawning. I stretch and look at the time. It's time to eat.

Walking around with my eyes half closed, I hum to my music. I soon see the table with everyone sitting so I sit in the only place left which is between Shu and Subaru. I don't mind them, they are a bit less crazy than the others.

I look at my food in disinterest. Boring, I think before taking a fork and starting to eat. It's pretty good but I'm too tired for this shit so I just stay silent, not even glancing at anyone.

"You haven't eaten much, Little Bitch." I glance up and see Laito too close to Yui for comfort. I move so I can look at what's going on while seeming like I'm eating without paying attention. "You need to eat properly or you could become anemic. Would you like me to feed you?" Laito suggests. "How annoying," I mutter to myself, taking a bite of my food.

"Laito. It's bad manners to get to your feet during a meal," Says Reiji. I chuckle in my head.

(A/N: My sister would be dead if she was there. She always gets up during a meal, at least 5 times😂)

"Yes, sir," Says Laito, carelessly. He then turns back to Yui. "We'll continue this later, Little Bitch." She gonna die, I say in my head in an amused tone. I know that I can't let that happen though, so I'm keeping an eye on her. I honestly don't really care, she's kinda stupid, but it goes with this stupid job, mission or whatever.

Shu gets up, making me look at him from the corner of my eye. "This is a pain," He states before walking away. Eh, he's not wrong, I think to myself with a mental shrug. "That deadbeat. Nothing good can come of anyone who grows up spoiled rotten," Says Reiji. I turn to him with a raised eyebrow. He's taken my interest and is on my bad side now. You don't just say that about someone.

He looks at me and we have a small staring contest. I get quickly bored though and get up, looking away in a careless manner. "Vampires," I say in an annoyed tone, walking away.

Those stupid vampires. They are all fucked up. I should stay away. I hate this fucking job, I think as I walk along a corridor. No one should have been treated like how they were treated when they were kids, but it's not a reason to be mean like that. I'm one to know.

I walk to my room and close the door, sliding down until I'm sitting on the ground. I close my eyes as a song that I love starts playing on my mp3. I softly hum along.

Suddenly, my ears perk up as I hear a small yelp from the room beside mine. I know that it is Yui's so I groggily get up. I slowly open the door and walk to hers. I open her door and don't see her inside. A bit curious now, I walk in. My ears twist around as I realize that the sounds are coming from the bathroom.

I open the door and scoff at what I see. Shu and Yui were in the bath, completely clothed, and Shu was about to bite her. I grab Yui and take her out of the bath. I take a towel and help her dry off a bit. I then take her arm and lead her out of the bathroom, not paying attention to Shu, even as I can feel his eyes on me.

As I go to open the door, a small voice stops me. "Thank you," Says Yui. I turn to her with a poker face. "Try not to get in so much trouble, I cannot put all of my time and energy in saving you," I state before closing my eyes and leaving the room.

I get in my room and go into my own bathroom since I really need to relax right now. I lock the door and turn on the bathtub before putting a thing that makes bubbles. I take off my clothes and get in, my mp3 still on me since it's waterproof.

I get out and stretch with a grin. It's surprising that I like water that much since I'm technically supposed to hate it, but I always was a bit different. As I walk out of my room, my hair wet because I'm too lazy to dry it, I hear an angry voice. "Shu! Are you trying to pick a fight with me!?" Screams Ayato. Annoyed, I go to the room where the voices come from.

"Hey, can you hear me!?" He screams. "Keep it down," Shu and I say at the same time, me louder. Ayato turns around, about to scream at me, but stops dead in his tracks as he sees who talked. "Stop screaming, it's annoying," I simply state before walking out of the room.

I went back to the music room and grinned at the empty couch. Finally a quiet room without any vampires, I think as I lie on it. I soon fall asleep to my music, ignoring the feeling that I was being watched.

Normal POV:

"How annoying," Says a voice as he stares at the girl sleeping from the shadows.
