The man squeezed her throat stronger.

"You will learn to obey bitch," he said.

He slammed her head against the hard, wood floor. Hanji groaned and fell unconscious.

"There, much better," the man said.

He began to bind her in a very restrictive and strong tie, including using a hogtie as the final measure. A little blood trickled down Hanji's temple. The boss walked to the wagon.

"What happened?!" he asked seeing the blood on Hanji's face.

"Sorry sir," the bandit said.

"You better not have killed her." the boss replied, anger in his voice.

"She put up a fight so I had to knock her out," the bandit explained.

"I see," the boss replied.

"She's restrained now?"

"Yes, and she won't be getting free," the bandit said.

"Good," the boss replied.

"Per instructions of her new owner, he'd like her delivered to him."

"Yes sir!" the bandit said.

"We'll held out at first light, the trip will take us a few hours," the boss said.

"We'll have to take back roads to avoid any Scouts or Military Police. Get some rest with the others, I will keep watch over her."

The man nodded and left. The boss sat down across from Hanji and took a swig of whatever he had in his flask. He grumbled. The boss rummaged through his bag and pulled out a roll of bandages. He pulled Hanji into a sitting position, having her lean against him while he wrapped the bandages around her head. The boss gently laid Hanji down again, after all, he needed her to be in the best condition possible to get the most money.

Morning-

Hanji grimaced and slowly opened her eyes. They were moving... Hanji panicked. She began to thrash about, struggling wildly and screaming. Moments later, a rough hand clamped over her lips and a strong arm pinned her down.

"Oi, calm down girl," the boss said.

Hanji fought against him but it didn't do much good. The boss was strong and held her still.

"Calm down." He repeated, his voice calm.

Hanji felt a little lightheaded after all her fighting and stilled.

"Good," the boss said.

"You hit your head so just take it easy."

Hanji looked around.

"Where are we? Where are you taking me?" she asked, a bit surprised she wasn't gagged.

"Some dusty old road," the boss said.

"And we're on our way to your new home, should be there in about an hour or so."

Hanji felt her blood run cold. All the memories of what had happened yesterday came rushing back.

"Oh, I see," the boss said.

"You forgot you were bought at auction."

Hanji looked down.
