Allison's POV
She screamed. She actually screamed out loud. Her dog barked at her out of concern. Was this real? Was she dreaming? This was a dream. This was not real. Wake up, Allison, she thought to herself. Wake up, wake up, wake
"Are you okay?" her brother asked rushing into the kitchen.
Allison looked up at him, her mouth hanging open. In her hands, she was holding a letter addressed to Ms. Allison, the return address from the venue BTS was preforming at in New Jersey. She couldn't breathe. This had to be fake. Absolutely could not be real in any plane of reality.
"Who is that envelope from?" her brother asked, coming closer to look at it.
Allison snapped to the present, clutching the letter to her stomach. "It's nothing! Gotta go!"
She raced up the stairs to her room where she found Melissa on the floor, threading laces through her sneakers.
Allison meant to yell Melissa's name, or try to explain the situation, or say anything intelligent at all, but all that escaped Allison's lips was a strangled cry of disbelief and anguish. She fell to the ground next to her sister, letter still tight against her body.
She squeezed her eyes shut and said, "What does it saaaaaaay?"
"What is that?" Moe asked, laughing at the distraught Allison.
"BigHit replied to my letter," Allison whispered. Reality struck her. Someone at BigHit read her letter and took the time to respond. All within the span of four days! It barely mattered what this response letter said. It could be calling her a dummy and a crackhead and she wouldn't care.
"What!" Melissa cried. "Open it!"

Melissa's POV
Allison continued to lay on the floor. She wouldn't open the letter. So Melissa decided to take matters into her own hands and open it. This didn't feel real, but someone had to do it. She carefully pried the envelope from Al's hands and then, even more carefully, broke the seal.
As gently as humanly possible, Melissa extracted the paper from from the envelope and unfolded it. The letter was actually pretty short, taking up less than half the page. That immediately made Melissa assume that it was a rejection letter, but she read it out loud anyway.
"Dear Ms. Allison, Ms. Melissa, and Ms. Laney,
We received your letter regarding the position of "Tour Mom" and found the idea entertaining and intriguing. After discussing the matter extensively with CEO Bang Sihyuk, Manager Kim Sejin, Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook—" (Melissa accidentally fell into the fan chant while reading their names. Also, it should be noted that as she read this, her voice grew louder and louder while Allison's breathing became faster and faster.) "it has been decided that after a thorough background check and a short training period, we will allow you three to join our tour team where you will assume the position of "Rest Managers". This role will require that you attend to BTS's needs in the appropriate way you see fit, meaning you must accompany BTS on the remainder of their Love Yourself World Tour.
Thank you for your support of BTS. Please get in touch with us at █ █ █ █@ibighit.com for more information regarding hiring and transportation."
The paper fell from Melissa's hands and she stared blankly between her empty hands. Her unlaced sneakers were completely forgotten.
"I'm dreaming," Allison whispered.
"BTS..." Melissa started, "BTS...read our letter..."
"This isn't real," Allison whispered.
Melissa fumbled for her phone. Laney had to know. She had to tell Laney immediately.

Laney's POV
In complete honestly, Laney had almost forgotten about the letter. She'd had a busy week and she was finally home again after being away at school for several weeks. That, and her memory was just plain bad. Anyway, when she got a text in all caps from Melissa asking if she could FaceTime, her stomach dropped, somehow expecting the worst possible scenarios for why Melissa would need to FaceTime so urgently. She answered back yes, and her phone instantly alighted with an incoming call.
"Yeoboseyo?" Laney answered as a joke, hoping to relive whatever tension Melissa was going through. On the screen, she saw what looked like a war torn Allison and a crazed Melissa.
"Guys... what's up?" Laney was really starting to get concerned. What happened?
"BugHit responded to my letter," Allison blurted. Laney's mouth fell open.
"No they did not. You're lying to me." Was that possible?
"Can you come over?" Melissa asked. "You need to see this!"
"Oh my gosh, what? I'll come over! I still don't believe y'all," Laney said, not wanting to fall into their trick and look like a dummy afterwards. She checked her phone to make sure it wasn't April 1st, then grabbed her keys and drove to Allison and Melissa's house.
"If you guys are lying to me I'm going to k–" Laney started as she walked into her friends' house, but was cut off by a piece of paper being shoved in her face. She looked at her friends. Allison had tears running down her face and Melissa's hair was beyond disheveled.
"What in the world," Laney gasped, before taking the paper.
She read the letter. And then she read the letter again. Then she read the letter for a third time, because she couldn't believe what she'd read the first two times. But the contents didn't change in the third read through, so Laney had to come to terms with what was written on the paper.
"Did—did Preston write this?" Laney asked, incapable of believing...
Allison sobbed before a smile split her face. "Preston didn't know about the letter," she said as more tears fell down her face.
"It has to be real," Melissa said, breaking to laughter.
Laney laughed uncertainty. A chill rushed over her whole body. Her stomach dropped for the second time that day. What...
"We need to email the email right now," cried Allison, grabbing Laney's hand and pulling her up to her room where her laptop was.
The three girls sat on Allison's bed, gathered around the laptop. They decided sense Allison was the reason for all of this, she should be the one to email BigHit. In ten minutes, they had a very professional email typed up with resumes for each of them attached.
This was, by far, the wildest thing that had ever happened to Laney. She needed to ask her parents right? What would she do about school? This was unreal.
Faster than any of the girls could comprehend, BigHit responded to their email. Their message contained so much information that it left the girls reeling. There were procedures and numbers and instructions and so, so many attachments. Together, the girls waded through everything, filling out all the documents as fast as possible. They got the sense that BigHit wanted this to happen quickly.
During this process, Laney called her parents. She, somewhat embarrassed, explained the situation to them, worried that they would be mad or call her crazy. Instead, they seemed more confused than anything, but ultimately told Laney to do what she thought was best. That's when Laney started crying.

Allison's POV
With the okay from Laney's parents, Moe and Allison decided it was time they asked their parents too. It went...surprisingly well.
They found their parents in the living room watching a show, so they asked if they could talk to them for a second. Allison told them everything from the beginning, then added the part about Laney's parents. Her dad stared at them for a while. Her mom looked absolutely baffled but started laughing anyway. Her dad picked up his phone and did random things on it for at least ten minutes. Allison and Melissa waited patiently. Their dad liked to make them wait for his decisions, but they'd grown used to this and were ready to wait an eternity if it meant he said yes.
Finally, finally, he put his phone down and looked at their mom. Some kind of communication happened between them, and both their parents turned back to them. "Go ahead," he said.
Allison screamed and ran to her parents, giving them a huge hug, followed closely by Melissa.
"Thank you!" they cried as they ran back upstairs.
Laney had finished up filling out all her documents and their reply was finally ready to be sent. They were really going to do this. Allison still couldn't believe it. They were actually going to be working for BTS.
