💙 Peter Parker ❤️

"Penis!" The word was thrown Peter's way, instantly causing him to flinch. Flash Thompson, the one who had been bullying Peter for years now. He never seemed to let up. Peter had hoped that maybe he would, at least for a little while given the circumstances. "Where have you been for the past two weeks?" He asked, shoving me into the lockers.

"Flash, leave me alone." Peter said, really not in the mood for this. He was very tempted to use his new found powers to rid of Flash, but it took everything in him not to. It would not end well for anyone if Peter showed how he was suddenly able to defend himself.

"Not until you tell me where you've been all week, Penis." Flash pressed. Peter, having no fight in him, just let himself be be crushed. The locks on the lockers were digging into his back as Flash held him there and yet Peter made no attempt to move. The physical pain was a distraction that Peter welcomed with open arms.

"Flash, just leave him be. He's had a hard two weeks and he doesn't need you making it worse." Ned said, speaking up and trying to defend Peter. Ned wasn't a strong guy but he managed to pull Flash off of his friend. Peter was grateful for that, yet he did not mention as much. At least he wouldn't until Flash was gone.

"How hard could it be? You were out of school for two weeks." A foot was put out to trip Peter. Peter noticed, due to his newly found powers, yet he wasn't able to lift his leg high enough to step over it. He fell to the ground, his books flying everywhere. "We'll see you again later, Penis." Flash promised before walking off with all his friends.

"Peter, are you alright?" Ned asked, moving to help Peter up off the ground. Once they were both up, they both bent down once more to pick up Peter's books. "But can I ask, why were you gone all week?"

Peter froze upon hearing the question. The scene from a fortnight instantly replayed in his mind. It was a haunting moment, one that caused Peter to cry for days. It made him want to stay in bed for the rest of his life even when he knew he couldn't do that. He had to keep going for his uncle Ben.

The two had been walking home together one night when a robber appeared. Uncle Ben, the great person he was, was not able to stand back and allow the robbery to happen. He defended the woman who had been robbed, and tried his best to get the purse back. It had all gone down hill when the robber pulled out a gun.

Everything had gone in slow motion from that moment on. Peter running forward, trying to push his uncle out of the way or at least jump in  front of him. The man pulling the trigger, and his uncle falling to the ground. Peter then rushing over to his uncle, wanting to help him in anyway that he could.

The gun was trained on the woman next. Before Peter could even register what was going on, he rushed forward to protect the woman, just like his uncle had done. This time the bullet hit him. Although it simply grazed his arm, still managing to hit the target which stood behind him.

Peter fell to the ground, tears streaming down his face. They were not tears of pain, for the pain hadn't yet registered in his adrenaline filled mind. It was tear for the two who had fallen. For his uncle and a woman who he had never met before.

Peter lied there, fully willing to let his life be taken next. The gun was now aimed at him, his new spidey sense that he hadn't yet gotten used to told him as much. He did not move he just lied there in the puddle of blood that was forming around him. The next bullet was shot.

Yet, it never hit him. Confused, Peter glanced up only to find Ironman standing there, between him and the robber. He had taken the shot that had been meant for him. Although taking the shot meant nothing to Ironman due to the suit he wore. A gold titanium alloy shield of his very own.

The rest of the situation had passed in a blur for Peter. He knew Tony had called the ambulance and stayed with him until the paramedics arrived. Once they were there though, Tony was gone, not wanting to deal with media of any kind. Peter was rushed to the hospital, along with his uncle and the woman. He was the only survivor.

"I-" Peter could bring himself to say the words. Not even to his best friend who he shared almost everything with. Peter looked at his shoes, feeling quite guilty. "I'll tell you later."

"Alright," Ned said, seeming to accept the fact he wasn't going to learn what it was just yet. "Just tell me when you're ready dude."

The rest of the day had gone by as a blur. He hadn't payed much attention to his classes, for he kept zoning out. For once, none of his teachers were hard on him for most of them had already been informed. Flash had picked up on the fact that something was off and he really didn't seem to like it.

I wonder if Mr Stark realizes he's saved me twice now, Peter wondered. Probably not, I was wearing a helmet the first time around. But what was Tony Stark doing in Queens last week? He never got involved in small problems like robberies and such. Why had this time been so different?

Peter found himself trying to grasp some kind of answer to his questions nearly all day. And yet nothing came to mind. He looked it up, but there was nothing. For once, even the press had no answer for a sighting of Tony Stark. Now that he thought about it though, Peter doubted the press even knew about Tony's involvement in the situation. That would surely be a first.

"Hey Peter, have you heard about the Spider-Man guy? The one from YouTube?" Ned asked as the two of them walked out of the school once it was finished for the day. Peter's head instantly turned to look at Ned, curious as what he had to say. But at the same time he had a little moment of 'that's what people are calling me? That's so awesome!'

"Spider-Man?" Peter asked, trying to play it off as if he hadn't heard of him. Of course he had though. Peter had been Spider-Man for just over a week now. He had made the superhero in spirit of his uncle. He would try and make sure that what happened to his uncle and the woman didn't happen again. Although he had been getting a lot of hate, he had seen the comments on some of the videos. The ones that were positive though, Peter actually had taken screenshots of them and had them saved in his phone.

"Yeah, he's a new superhero. Although he isn't one of those big names heroes like the Avengers, not a lot of people know about him. He's going to be a trend though, I can feel it." Ned said, sounding quite confident in his words.

"And what is your opinion on this Spider-Man?" Peter asked hesitantly, afraid to know his best friends opinion.

"He's cool. More than cool actually. He's pretty awesome." The words brightened Peter's day. Yes, it was not by much, but hearing that his best friend approved of his alter ego helped quite a bit. Although it would it was about to be topped, for when Peter got home he would find a surprise for him there. With his Aunt May, would be none other than Tony Stark.
