New Kid

Park Jimin was new to Seoul High. His family lived in Busan, but he came to this high school because it had a much better music program. Jimin was a dancer, and also a singer. He wanted to be an idol one day. I know, cliche.

Did I mention he's adopted? And his family knows nothing about him being a Magic?

Oh. You probably don't know what that is.
A magic is someone who is contains a special alteration in their DNA, giving them the ability to do the extraordinary, Magic. It's superpowers of sorts, but like, with a mix of Avater (The last airbender). Jimin, he is a healer. Healers are pretty low in the magic society, but he's special. Normally, people can only do one thing. For example, most healers can only use healing magic. But, for Jimin, he can also control water and air. About 1/20 of the magics are like him, having multiple powers. It's harder to tell that their a magic when they do, though. Its a type of natural defense to sheild themselves from danger. Often times, magic parents give away their children when they don't sense that they're magics. Probably 1/10 of the population would be multi-ability magics if their parents didn't give them away, since you need to train to develop your powers.

When you're born, magics can sense your type/status, and immediately give you a type of food that contributes to grow your powers. Kids that are given away lack those foods and end up losing their powers without even knowing they existed. It's a complicated process, really.

Jimin inhales deeply as he steps outside, ready to walk to school. He lived in a petite apartment in a small building, even though his parents were quite rich.
"Hello!" Jimin's head turned to the husky yet cheerful voice and found a surprisingly smiley kid behind him.
"Um...hi?" Jimin quietly sends a pulse out into the air, sighing in relief when he finds no sign of the kid being a werewolf or magic. Jimin hates werewolves. Most magics do.

Switch to Jimin's POV
"My name's Kim Taehyung! I live in the apartment across from your's!" I smile and nod awkwardly, "Coolio." I continue to walk to the school when I hear another voice behind me, though this time I ignore it.
"TaeTae~"
"Kookie!" I roll my eyes at the pet names, they must be dating.
"Who was that?" A hint of jealously is mixed into the voice. Yep, definitely a couple.
"New neighbor."
"Oh...HEY NEW NEIGHBOR!" I jump at the sudden shout, accidently causing a small gust of wind to pass in their direction. I need to stop doing that.
"Um...hello."

"I'm Jeon Jungkook, TaeTae hyung's best friend!" I chuckle at the phrase best friend, either their both so in love that they are convinced the other doesn't like them, or he's afraid I'm a homophobe.
"Aren't you two dating?" Both their cheeks flush a deep red that reminds me of roses as the older, referred to as TaeTae Hyung, stutters out, "W-what?! That's absurd!" I don't miss the small frown that goes across the black haired kid, and frown myself.
"Really?!" I start to act as convincingly as possible, which didn't take much effort since I believed most of the words I said, "You two look so cute together! You would be #couplegoals!!!!" I watch in amusement as their cheeks flush deeper, almost turning purple.

"Why are you both so red? What are we talking about, the last time you hooked up with someone?" The blush only deepens and I start to laugh out loud, unable to contain my amusement longer.
"Y-you look l-like fuckung c-clowns with such red c-cheeks!" I continue to laugh the entire way to the school. Of course, I get to know the kids. Apparently they've been friends since 5th grade. Jungkook's a freshman, and Tae's a sophomore, like me. In fact, we have almost all our classes together. The school only has one lunch for all the grades since its pretty small school with a huge cafe, so I can't wait to meet their friends. From what I've heard, Yoongi's very interesting. He sounds like my type. Actually, if he isn't a werewolf, he is my type.
