"Sterlyn!" A small girl yipped running up to the much taller, darker looking male who had been sitting alone in one of the cities main taverns.

"What do you want?" He didn't even look back to the girl as he spoke, messing with a dagger he had in hand.

"You, you're need sir." The girl forced out taking a small step back as the male turned a bit, looking over his shoulder to the girl.

The woman was small, sky blue hair that only stopped near her knees, pale blue eyes to go along with the hardly sun touched pale skin. She was dressed in a cloak, the hood pulled over her head, the shirt she wore was ripped and turned more into a lose tank-top looking piece, along with jeans so ripped they might as well be cut and turned into shorts. Overall he could tell the outfit was new, the style that had been added in the most recent update of the game, everyone had been changing to fit the new update. He didn't bother changing for it.

He let a small sigh escape his lips as he put the dagger away, standing up from the stool he'd been sitting on. He walked over to the smaller girl, she hardly came up to his shoulders. He swore all the new models were just getting smaller.

"Who is it this time?" He questioned probably sounding a little harsher then he meant to because he saw the girl before him jump a small bit.

"It's, Thanatos, sir." The smaller girl pulled down her hood a small bit as she spoke.

Sterlyn rolled his eyes at the name. Thanatos was one of the top players of the game, only a few levels under Sterlyn himself. Thanatos for months had been trying to convince Sterlyn to join his guild, he promised so many things to the male but thats just isn't how he plays the game so he always turned him down. Sadly Thanatos wasn't one to give up on something he wanted, and he really wanted Sterlyn in his party, he wanted the best of the best.

"Thanks, kid." Sterlyn walked out of the tavern with only half of it looking his way.

He was the highest ranked level in the game currently, well he was only matched by one person but they were a level behind him so he never really thought much of them, he'd never even seen them before. All he really knew of them was that they were some red-haired, orange-eyed. female who often hung around the main city of the game, New Haven. He had been sitting in the tavern all day waiting to see if he could find them. Turns out, there is a lot of red-haired, orange-eyed girls in this game, he never noticed.

He walked to the most common place he found the guild, one of the main churches in the city. He had reached the place in only a few minutes. When he walked in he was met with the sight of none in the room beside Thanatos himself. The male was grinning widely once he saw Sterlyn.

"You came again!" He cheered clasping his hands together.

"If I don't you have your guild members come to find me." Sterlyn spat glaring at the male whos grin didn't even waver.

"But thats only because we want the strongest on our team!" Thanatos walked closer to Sterlyn who didn't bother moving.

"I'm saying no for the twenty-third time, leave me alone." Sterlyn crossed his arms, he was really getting sick of being called here for nothing each week.

"But why? What can our party not offer you that being a loner can?" Thanatos questioned annoyance in his tone.

"Freedom." With that line, Sterlyn turned and started out of the church.

"We're going to get you in our guild I'm telling you!" the male called after him.

"Good luck," Sterlyn called back grinning a bit.

Sterlyn looked around as he walked back to the tavern, who knows maybe he'd find the girl on the streets. No matter where he looked he couldn't find them, anywhere. He sighed at the fact as he entered the tavern. As soon as he took a step inside he knew it was off. He scanned the room before walking over to a table where a red-haired, orange-eyed woman sat.

He walked to her side. She noticed him and looked up, smiling as she did so. She gestured at the seat across from her and he wasted no time taking that empty seat.

"So you're the mythical Sterlyn? And here I thought you'd be cuter." The girl whined placing her head in her hand.

"Adara isn't it?" He questioned only getting a pleased smile from the girl.

"You betcha, Mr. Sterlyn." She teased.

"It's just Sterlyn." He sighed and earning a laugh from the girl across the table from him.

"Have you tired already Sterlyn? You haven't even heard why I want you here." Adara mumbled placing her hands on the table in front of her.

"Oh wonderful, why did you want me here?" He questioned leaning forward as she had just a moment ago.

"I wanna play a game!" She giggled pulling back quickly and tossing her hands up.

The male couldn't help but give her a strange look as she fell into a giggle fit that he had to sit out. He watched her hold her stomach as she sat there. She stopped after a few moments brushing some of her curly red hair out of her face.

"Alright, but really I want to play a game." She smiled up at him again.

"What kind of game?" He questioned still a little unsure of the whole thing that was happening at the current moment.

"Simple, rock, paper, scissors," Adara responded still smiling. "It's a simple game we can play. Now I want to make a bet with it. If I you win, you can do whatever you want I don't care, but if I win, oh if I win. You have to form a party with me."

"Yeah no, I'm not playing your childish games, Adara." Sterlyn stood up from his seat, he only got a few steps away before Adara grabbed his coat sleeve.

Sterlyn glanced down at the medal arm he had lacked to notice before looking back up to the girl who now had a very serious look on her face.

"Are you scared of a little game O' Great Sterlyn?"
