Adara let a louder laugh break past her pale pink lips, a hand coming down to smack the table. "Oh let me tell you a tale buddy, buckle up."

Adara brightly smiled up at Sterlyn setting her chin on her hands. "I like the change because I don't like being boring." She responded flatly.

Sterlyn stared at her blankly for a few moments annoyed written all over his face, "I'm leaving." He mumbled standing up.

Adara had quickly grabbed Sterlyn's wrist pulling him back with a whine from her, "Sterlyn no! I need you for something."

The older male looked down at Adara confused. "Why would I do anything for you?"

"Because secretly you love me like your little sister and you're an amazing wingman for me," Adara mumbled.

Sterlyn grumbled quietly yanking his arm away from Adara. "Which one?" Sterlyn asked in an annoyed tone.

"The pretty one? Over there by the corner, with the cat?" Adara did her best to point out the person to Sterlyn.

"After this, I'm done helping you with your problem." Sterlyn rolled his eyes before walking over to the woman in the corner.

"Yeah, yeah. I promise this is the last one." Adara watched Sterlyn with a small smile on her face. She had to admit the girl was pretty and honestly she was mostly doing it for Sterlyn, not herself.

The girl was short, only a bit taller then Adara, she was highly pale she looked almost untouched by the sun. The girl had long white hair paired with amber eyes. The girl had light freckles placed over her cheeks. She was dressed in a thin white dress that hardly fully passed her thighs. There was a small fluffy cat sitting in her lap, dozing off.

Adara jumped in her place as she noticed the girl looking over to her with a smile, she hesitantly smiled back. Adara watched as the girl picked up the kitten, standing up as well, walking over to her. Adara felt her face slowly become hot as the stranger took Sterlyn's place.

The white-haired woman gently smiled at Adara, as she gently placed her now empty hands, the kitten on the seat next to her, on the table, "Your friend told me you wanted to talk? I'm Aneira by the way." The woman spoke gently to Adara.

Sterlyn watched for a few moments as the two talked before he walked out of the cafe-like place. He had other things to be doing then stalking his friend and their probably soon to be next crush, he could wait to hear about this tomorrow.

Sterlyn had been quick to log out, he had earlier told Adara he had things to do, he lied. Sterlyn never had much to do and at the time it was late at night so he didn't really have time to do much in the real world anyhow.

Rielyr had set alone in their apartment, pushed up against the corner sitting on a pile of blankets and pillows, a smaller throw pillow sitting in their lap. Rielyr wasn't one for sleeping at the right times it just wasn't something that came to them. They lived on insomnia and probably three or so pots of coffee, you know to really make the nights longer.

Rielyr gently sighed staring at the dimly lit screen of their phone. They had a cup of coffee between their legs, slightly burning the pale skin of the human. Rielyr scrolled through a few texts, from their now student friend. Rielyr had given Ithin their number a little while ago, they slightly regretted it now. Ithin would text Rielyr at insane times and most of the time they were around very early morning.

Rielyr took a small sip from their coffee scrolling through the messages mindlessly. Most of them rounded up to the current work in Rielyr's class Ithin was having issues with. Rielyr was slower then the other would have been but they got around to replying giving them small tips on how to fix things. Rielyr tried to be helpful but if Ithin couldn't understand it in their class Rielyr doubted Ithin would understand better over text but they tried.

They were almost shocked at how fast Ithin would respond to them. Rielyr had taken a moment to adjust before lightly smiling. Ithin was a good kid even if she could get lost here and there. Before Rielyr could respond to the previously sent texts they were loaded up with more. Not even a good five minutes had passed before Rieyr found out they had another study-date set up. Rielyr grumbled but accepted, it wasn't like Ithin would let them say no.

Hours had passed before the feeling of even being tired came over Rielyr. They quietly yawned, now laying on their side in bed, no longer with coffee. They were still being bombarded with questions by Ithin, but this time it was over the phone. Rielyr was confused on how the girl could seem to be so chipper so early into the morning, it made them worry.

Rielyr went on to listen to Ithin, mostly giving small hums in response. They were tired very much so but they would be awake long enough to finish their talk with Ithin.

"Rielyr. Are you even listening to me?" Rielyr listened to the girl on the other line whine.

"Yeah, yeah I am. Just remind me again, what did you say?" Rielyr questioned with a small yawn.

Ithin sighed with a small hum. "Never mind, you're tired, right? It's late, go get some sleep."

"No, no it's fine. You still need help and I'm here for that." Rielyr mumbled eyes closed.

"Go to sleep already, I'll still be here in the morning, you can help me then." Rielyr listened to Ithin's soft voice before the line disconnected.

Rielyr slowly moved their phone to the other side of the bed, pulling the blanket over their head further. Rielyr didn't believe in what Ithin said, they might not be there in the morning, either of them. Rielyr tried to push the thought out of their mind as they slowly fell asleep.
