Chapter 1

ANGEL POV

We stepped down off the Bus into the darkness . I was finally free from all wory & pain I left behind in Chicago . I was here in Texas along with My Sister . We were supposed to be waiting on My Brother to pull up at the station any minute now .

* 10 Mins Later *

"  ANGEL ! HEAVEN ! " we heard a familiar voice yell .

I turned around  & saw My Brother . "Siaah ! " I yelled while running up to him . After our reunion he loaded all of our stuff into his Black Escalade .

Please forgive me . I'm Angel Monique Carter . I'm 22 years young & I am a strong Light Skin female . I'm thick in the butt & I stand at 5'11 . I have naturally curly dark brown hair that stops mid-butt  & a beautiful natural white smile . I've been messed with & hurt enough times to have Trust Issues . In my mind I have no father or mother . Just a Sister & Brother .

* 2 hours later *

" We're Here " Josiah sighed lazily . 

I looked up to see a Beautiful 2 story house with a gorgeous yard . Heaven  & I got out & ran all inside taking in everything . We ran up the stairs & thats when I saw a door marked in a cursive A & another one marked with a cursive H beside it  . I stepped inside what I assumed to be my room . I gasped in awe at the sight of the King sized bed in the middle of the Blue & white room . I walked around the room just to see a connected bathroom . I ran downstairs  & thanked Josiah making him knock my bags down . I helped him carry my stuff to MY room , showered , & put on a Red tank top , gray sweats , Christmas fuzzy socks & called My Bestfriend , Jade . One reason I wanted to move down here was because Jade was down here attending Baylor Medical School . I applied & got my transcripts sent over & Here I Am . After my conversation with Jade I dozed off into a nap .

HEAVEN POV

I was in the car with my older two siblings when we stopped at a gorgeous two story house . Me being the child I am ran inside & took a little tour . I ran upstairs to complete it when I stopped at a door marked with a cursive H . I stepped inside to reveal my very own Red & White bedroom with a connected bathroom . I went downstairs to thank Josiah afterwards he told me to get dressed so we can register me for school & pick a car out for Angel . I went upstairs to unpack my stuff just to reveal my closet & drawers  full of clothes & my vanity full of jewelry . I pulled out a plain white tee shirt , blue skinny jeans , & white sandals . I walked over to the bathroom & got in the shower .

Let me introduce myself , I'm Heaven Kaleese Carter . I'm lightskin with naturally curly hair . I'm semi- thick in all the right places with a short stature to top it off . I was abused & raped by the man I was supposed to call Father . It made me be the person I am today : loving , full blown attitude,  & trust Issues  .

I hopped out the shower & flat ironed my hair . I went into my bedroom & put on my white ball earrings & pink headband . I went downstairs & headed off to register with Josiah . When we stepped inside I saw a mad number of hating females , basic females , popular females , thug females , thug males , hating males , nerd males , & then I saw that crew . What I mean by that crew was :  3 thug males & 2 ride or die females . I was wondering where the other female was when a soft voice broke me out of my thoughts  .

        " Staring ooor ? " She asked jokingly .

She was lightskin with long black curly hair  .

" Just a bit . Weren't you with them ? Where's his girl ? " I asked hurriedly .

        "Calm ya titts Ma & yeah,  but he's single . Comeeer' Nique " she yelled to a semi-brownskin girl with short black hair & a semi-thick body  .
