Chapter Six

After cleaning I practically ran home to get ready for tonight. It felt so weird actually having things to look forward too.

I brushed my teeth and put on my normal make up adding some darker eye shadow. I touched up my hair and applied one more strip of light pink lip gloss. I changed into black jeans and my ACDC band tee with an elbow length leather jacket. I put on my favorite band bracelets and VIP lanyard and tugged on my black DMs. I wasn’t sure when Matt (or whoever) was picking me up so I sat downstairs and watched tv.

When the guys (Carter, Taylor, and Aaron) arrived I was taken back at the presence of Taylor and not Matt.

“Hello everyone!” I said trying to hide my disappointment. They all smiled and greeted me, Carter giving me a hug.

“Hey Alice can I talk to you?” spoke Taylor pulling me back into my house before I could even answer.

He pinned me to the wall forcing our eye contact. Damn. He was hot but still a douchebag.

“I’m sorry for what I said, I didn’t know you heard me and I was wrong to judge you.” He sympathetically spoke and I smiled.

“Its okay. Thank you for the apology.” I kissed his cheek showing my forgiveness.

*a few hours later during the magcon set/show*

“Okay everybody when I say MAG you say CON!” Yelled Taylor into the mike.

The crowd did as asked at it was pretty cool. I was sitting in front of the barriers on the floor. I took a quick picture of all the guys hugging on stage and tagged them. I instantly gained over 600 follows.

“Okay everybody please welcome our last friend to the stage ALICE!” Yelled Nash pointing at me. I flushed a dark red and cautiously stood up and waved as I walked up the stage steps.

“H-hello everyone” I spoke softly into the mike they all cheered.

“Now Alice please, s with us one of your talents.” My eyes widened. I don’t have talent, I mean I sing and write music but nobody knows that. I decided to be risky and go for it.

“I’m losing myself, Trying to compete” I began to sing my original work. I looked at the boys wide eyed, I am terrified.

“With everyone else, instead of just being me” I continued looking at the crowd; I suddenly felt the urge to puke.

I dropped the mike and ran off to the bathrooms. I can’t believe I sang in front of a crowd of 200 people. I heard a knock on the door and I opened to see Matt. My heart fluttered, I was gaining feelings for this boy and I have only known him a few days.

“Are you okay?” He looked at me and half smiled, all I did was nod.

“You did great. We were all surprised that you were honestly very good.” I blushed and said my thanks.

“you should tour with us!” I could see the excitement spark his eyes.

Honestly that would be fun but there are already a lot of acts and sets going on during this tour and that’s too much for me to handle.

“No I couldn’t I have to help my nana.” I shyly looked away.

He cupped my chin making me look into his beautiful orbs.

“Please? You would make a great addition. All the other girls dropped out.” He pleaded and removed his hand. His soft brown eyes flooded my thoughts, how could I say no to him?

“Ughhhh Matt I don’t know.” I pleaded back hoping he would understand.

“We all really want you too.” He pleaded once more, almost wining. I couldn’t take it my heart was about to burst into a million butterflies.

“OKAY!” I yelled making him jump. We both laughed and he embraced me into a hug.

This is going to be fun, weird, and new for me but maybe it’s for the better.
