6 adults in grey, 1 in blue, 1 in black, 1 in yellow, and 1 in black & white came in and started getting kids. I would probably be with someone from Abnegation, since the testers from the other factions would be testing the Abnegation kids. You weren't allowed to be tested from someone of the same faction as you for whatever reason. I wasn't sure what order they were taking kids in. Maybe they were just being taken at random. After about 2 hours, the room was mostly cleared. I was the only Amity left. There were a few Dauntless and Erudite left, but everyone from Candor and Abnigation was gone.
Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned my head to see a girl with straight pink and black hair staring at me. I knew she couldn't be here to test me, because she looked about 16.
"Um, hi," I said, nervously. No one ever talked to me. Really, once I think about it, I only have 2, maybe 3 friends and I barely talk to them any more.
"Mind if I sit with you?" She asked.
"No, go ahead," I said, still confused. Why wasn't she with the other Dauntless? And why did she come to me of all people?
"Are you nervous?" She asked, glancing back at the other Dauntless.
"Yeah. Are you?"
"Extremely," she replied. "What's your name?"
"Andrea. What's yours?"
"Cassidy, but everyone calls me Cassy," she said, messing with the zipper on her jacket.
"Nice to meet you Cassy. Not to be rude or anything, but why aren't you with the other Dauntless?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
She looked at me, and said, "because most of them are rude to me. Honestly, I only came over here because I felt this was the safest place to be."
"Andrea Miller?" A voice said behind me. I turned to see a woman in a grey suit looking at me. I sighed, and stood up.
"Bye, Cassy. Maybe I'll see you around some time," I said. She didn't say anything in reply, but she just nodded in response, acknowledging what I had said.
I followed the woman down a few halls, and into a room that was covered in mirrors. Everywhere I looked, I saw a reflection of myself. Even the ceiling was mirrored. I sat down in the chair, and she started pressing stuff to my head. I think she was explaining what would happen, but everything she said was a blur, so I couldn't really tell.
She turned to a computer for a minute, and when she turned back, she had a syringe full of orangish liquid. She started moving the hair away from the back of my neck, and I realized she was planning on sticking that needle in my neck. No thank you.
Before I had time to protest, she pressed the needle deep into the soft skin, and everything started going fuzzy around the edges of my vision. Within a few seconds, everything was black, and I had the sensation of falling.
