Chapter Four

Once arriving at the entrance Ej opens the door and walks in, I push the door open as well and walk over to my bed. I inhale deeply and jump face down onto the soft bed. I exhale quietly as I reevaluate what the hell just happened. So I was playing video games and lost, BEN kissed me, Ej brought me back to the bedroom where I am right now. The red and pink color begins to appear on my cheeks again as Ej just gives a laugh. "What did BEN do to you?" He says while looking at his weapon that is placed in his hand. "He... just kisses me..." I reply as Ej just gives a soft laugh. "Don't think much of it, he does it to all the girls. Just watch out, he's known for being a little... touchy." He warns while he gets up and places the weapon on the dresser. "Get ready for bed, I'm getting tired!" "Alright!" I walk out of the room and into the bathroom where I get dressed for bed. I brush my teeth and put my hair into a long braid. I walk back to the room and sit down. "Remember the rules." He reminds me as I nod and turn towards the wall and cover myself with the blanket. I snuggle in and begin to drift off. The last thing I hear is a wooden mask being put down on a dresser. Sleep claiming my body once again. The silent night, the whistles of the wind, the feeling of not being alone, the feeling of having a home.

I gently breath in and out as I stretch my arm out carefully, not wanting to hit my hand on the wall when, I don't hit the wall. I gently move my foot back and it hits the wall behind me. I must've turned around in my sleep, I begin to panic. I shut my eyes close and pull my hand back under the covers before covering my head with them. "It's okay, you can look you know. Calm down!" I peek from under the covers to see him getting up with his mask on. I sigh in relief as I move from under the covers, I close my eyes again from the little opening of light coming from the side of the closed window. I turn away and sit up. I stretch my arms out and yawn. "Morning." I say in a welcoming and happy voice. I normally wasn't happy. I brush it off and get out of bed, walking over to the left side of the closet where my clothes would be. I pull out a sweatshirt and black skinny jeans, black running shoes, undergarments colored black, and a couple twist ties. I walk to the bathroom and brush my hair, pulling it into a fishtail braid, I get dressed and walk to the kitchen. Trying not to get lost. Walking upon the entrance to see Toby chasing Jeff who has a plate full of waffles. "Give me my WAFFLES!" He yells while Jeff just cackles maniacally. What did I just walk in on. I sneak by them and sit down in a chair as I watch the two run around. "Hey, I'm Clockwork. I wasn't here yesterday since I was on a killing spree! You must be new here, welcome to... I don't know what." She says in a happy voice. Her left eye was a clock, her right just an eye. It's cool yet scary at the same time. She takes her hand out and I shake it. "My name is Wisp!" I reply as she smiles, "Nice name!" And she begins to eat the food that Slender had put her food in. After we all ate breakfast, we go out separate ways. Slender asks me to follow him to the forest with Jeff and Ej. 'Practice' I think was why he wanted me to come. I agreed and walked with him as we cane up on a clearing in the forest. Ej and Jeff were sharpening their weapons. "I want you to fight them, both of them." Slender said while walking to the corner of the battlefield. He stands leaning on a tree while the other two just pop their necks or just laugh. "This'll be easy as taking waffles from Toby!" Jeff yells while getting into a fighting stance. I didn't want to fight, I didn't want to hurt them! But once both ready slender yelled "Fight!" And I lost control. Shadow, my other side, the dark side of me took over. My powers moving through my body as they both sprinted towards me. I was now Shadow, the monster of the night.

I jump up, dodging both hits. I slam down causing cracks to form on the earths ground, they back up almost falling down. "How did you-" "In gonna KILL YOU!" Jeff yells at the top of his lungs as he jumps up trying to stab me. I slide left and fly up as the clouds form over the sky. My fangs began to show as well with my claws, my blue eye becoming slits. I fly forward and throw my power to them, they fall down and I create daggers and other weapons right next to their hearts. I fall to the ground with a Thump, I look down at the ground as my form changes once again. Slender walks over clapping quietly. "Good job." He says as he picks me up. Putting me on my feet, "T-thanks." I reply weakly. "What the hell just happened?!" Jeff screamed at me, throwing a tantrum like a little kid. I snickered at the reaction, he looks down at me once finally on his feet. "I'll kill you if you laugh again!" "Oh really, you couldn't even touch me while I was kicking you ass. The hell are you gonna do if you can't catch me?" I Say in a snarky tone as he just glares at me. "Tomorrow we will practice on controlling the other side of you, for now just go back to the mansion. Take a break. Get ready for tomorrow though." Slander intervenes. I nod in agreement and get up, stumbling as I walk I fall to the ground on my knees five feet away. Jeff just gives a sigh and grabs my arm. He throws it over his shoulder and walks me to the mansion, once there he walks to the bathroom and cleans up a wound on my leg. A branch had cut me while falling. He dabs on the cotton ball. Wincing I clench my hands into fists. "Sorry." He mumbles before holding my leg still. "Hold still! Your making it hard to help!" "Sorry!" I reply while I hold my hands into tight fists. Once done he wraps it up with badges. "There you go." He says while getting up, it hits me. Jeff the asshole just apologized, helped me, and now is leaving. "Thanks!" I Say but he can't hear me.
