The group back in Gimpo was silent. After Changbin called Felix asking for him to report to the police, he had. The police was working on the case furiously, but without many leads it turned out to be more difficult than originally thought. The word quickly spread around the little city. However, none of them got the story right. Some said both Minho and Jisung had been kidnapped, some said they had ran away. But no-one had even given a thought to the possibility that one of them had taken the other. The media quickly picked up on the story. The story of two best friends that had disappeared from their room in the middle of the night. It gained not only national popularity, but people all over the world was following the case closely.
Maybe it was because they were both so damn handsome, or young, or so damn normal. But everyone found themselves tuning in to the news to see if there was any new leads to the case about the two friends. The two handsome friends. The two normal friends, that lived in a small town, with a small group of close ones.
The popularity of the case was immense. It even reached China. When Renjun saw Minho on TV, he could feel chills down his spine. His first thought was that Minho had finally done it. He had finally snapped (and not in a good way.) He had finally wanted someone so bad, that he had taken him. And Renjun was so glad that wasn't him. So glad, that he started to cry in the middle of class when he first heard. He even made Kun drive him home, with a concerned Chenle by his side, and Xiao Jun calling to check up on him. Even Yukhei was worried, Yukhei was never worried. But Renjun never cried either. And Minho was never supposed to kidnap someone, but he did.
Renjun wasn't the only one worried. Both Somi and Daehwi cried together when they heard. Of course they knew, but they couldn't say anything. Because if they did, the police would look at them as suspects. And both of them had just got scouted by different agencies, and they definitely didn't want their hands dirty with Minho's bad decisions.
