Chapter 8
During the signings I went to the back room. Only managers, photographers, and body gaurds were there. I started getting into this conversation with Bryant, Nash's photographer. "So when we go to a new location we always have to make sure we go to where the lighting displays the best picture." He explained. "Oh and I'm Bryant." He shook my hand. "Tera." He let go. "Oh you're the girl Nash had been tweeting. Well he cares an awful lot about you." Bryant crossed his arms over his chest. "How? He barely knows me." I crossed my arms too. "He says that he feels some connection between you two that makes him really care for you." I blushed. Then some guy came up and told Bryant that it was time to go out and take pictures of the signing for the website. He waved good bye and left.
Lindsey was out watching the signing so I sat down on the small couch against the wall. I went on my phone a little bit. I went on Twitter and just scrolled through different tweets. I was up to 106,788 followers. It's crazy! I went on Nash's twitter and scrolled down to read his tweets. I laughed at almost every single one. I then Iogged off and laid down across the couch.
Then next thing I know I'm sleeping. I felt something tickle my nose but before I did anything I realized that I had cream in my hand so when I felt the tickle again I shot my eyes open and slapped Cameron right on the face. Everyone was laughing so hard. I think I made a pretty good impression on them. Nash had his camera on Cam. He laughed as Cam fell to the floor and then his eye's fell on me. I smiled and he gave me a thumbs up.
Later on after the event was over I couldn't find Nash so I walked down the hallway opening doors to see if he was in any of the rooms. When I opened the fifth door down I accidentally walked in on Lindsey and Taylor making out. "Oh god I am so sorry." I closed the door and tried to shake off what I just saw. I looked all over and I still couldn't find him. I decided to go outside. The sun was just about to set as I put my hands across the railing. The steel was cold against my arms and the air felt like ice. I didn't bring a jacket but that didn't bother me.
I looked out over the buildings and I never realized how beautiful it really was. The cold was really getting to me now but yet I didn't move. I felt a warmth rush over my back and now I was wearing a grey sweater like a cape. I new who it was. I turned around and gave Nash a hug. A hug that was different, one that meant something to me. When I let go I put the sweater fully on and it was huge. But I enjoyed having a peice of the guy I like on me.
"You look absolutly adorable in my sweater." He said smiling at me. I nudged him and then he nudged me back. I laughed and looked out over the city again. The sun was almost gone. I heard Nash talking behind me and when I turned around he was handing his phone to a janitor and then walked over to me. "Say cheese." Nash said. We looked at the picture and it was so cute. Then still putting the phone in my sight he went on Insagram, clicked on the photo and started to write a caption. Best day today love you all. Sorry but I'm just loving this picture ;).
"We should probably head back inside." I said turning for the door. "Yeah we should. But I've got a better idea." He jumped over the rail and signaled me to follow. I went under and then we ran through the parking lot. We ran across the house lawns and through tree's. Then Nash hollared at a taxi to stop for us and soon we were gone. "Where are we going?" I asked still out of breath and laughing too. "One of my favorite places in town." He told the driver to stop at an intersection between two streets.
Nash paid the driver and we got out. Right there in front of mewas a big sign that read Marry's Frozen Yogurt. I started to laugh because we went through all this trouble to get yogurt. I got vanilla with sprinkles and he got cookies and cream. Then he took me up this hill through a bunch of tree's. And as I fought through branches Nash stopped me and then told me to look up. There was a small ledge with an opening that looked over the city. It was beautiful. We sat down and ate our yogurt. "Why'd you take me here?" I said. "Because this is a beautiful place to look at the beautiful stars with a beautiful girl."
I blushed and things got all tingly inside. "I love that I see you as a normal guy. If I didn't this would hell for you." He laughed. "Well then I'm extremely thankful." We laughed together and it wasn't me laughing with him or at him through a screen but it was with him. And I liked it. "Love sucks." Nash said randomly. "Yeah it does." I replied. "It sucks because it's hard to find. They say its rare to find someone that you fall in love with and truly mean it." He set down his cup and laid back. "Yeah sometimes I get the feeling that "they" is just your thoughts." I turned at looked at him. Though it was dark out I could still see the blue in his eye;s.
"Yeah well, "they" don't have to search for that love anymore." I was confused on that. "Why is that?" He sat up and came dangerously close to me. "Because "they" already found what they're looking for." I searched his eye's for the longest time. And not before this moment that I realized how much I wanted to kiss him. He leaned in hesitently and as did I. This didn't feel the same as kissing Noah. No. It felt better. I cupped my hands around his cheeks and fell back against the rock. He placed his muscular arm on the side of me and hovered over my body as we still kissed. Then of course his phone had to go off. He let go and put his forehead to mine. "Hold on." He reached for his phone and looked out over the city lights. "Hey. Yeah I'm fine. No she's with me. Cam chiil out. We'll be at the hotel shortly. Bye." He then turned to me. "We gotta go." He said why'll getting up.
