After Connie had asked that, Evangelion's eyes widened. She had never truly been lost before so she tried to stay positive. She gently set the sticks and twigs in her arms on the ground and pulled out her mini notepad from her back pocket. She then began to use the attached pencil to write: "So.. we are lost?"

"Yeah, seems so." Connie replied bluntly, he had never been afraid to be alone, sometimes, when he was younger, he enjoyed going to places no one would find him. If he really wanted, on weekends he would go to the pond and hide for hours-

"Oh.. Alright! Then, let's make the best of it!" She responded, a bit too quickly, making it difficult for him to read her normally neat writing. He gave her a slightly concerned look, but it was barely visible in his eyes. She gave a sad sigh but immediately perked up.

"Well, alright." Connie said suspiciously, something about her previous actions seemed... off. He chose to push that thought back, but still thought about it. He watched as her chest rose and fell, just a half a beat quicker than normal. Her eyes were barely tinted in fear and her eyebrows were furrowed just slightly. He felt extremely concerned but continued on.

The two had continued to walk, completely abandoning Evangelion's pile. They split Connie's pile and walked in silence. Eventually, Connie felt a cold touch brush against his hand. He turned to the girls and noticed that her hand was shaking and accidentally brushed her finger against his. She turned to look at him and tilted her head slightly, before her expression of confusion changed to one of surprise then relief as Connie firmly grasped her hand in his. The two had dead stopped and stared at each other.

After a few moments of staring, both of their faces immediately turned read. "Gah! I'm sorry!" Connie exclaimed. Evangelion shy-fully looked down, a soft smile etched across her face. Somehow, in that moment of extremeness, the two dropped their twigs, again. But they didn't even turn to the mess. Instead, the two turned to each other with bright blushes and smitten smiles. They stared into each other's eyes happily and slowly leaned in.

They could feel the other's lips nearly brush their own, before the pulled back in shock as they heard a not-so-quiet squeal from behind them. They turned around quickly and spotted Rikka and Emmi, the latter being hit in the back of the head by the former.

"Emmi!" The blonde screeched. "It was so close!" Rikka angrily yelled at the girl, though, everyone knew she didn't really mean it.

"I'm sorry! But it was so cute!" Emmi replied sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head where Rikka's hand had hit her.

"I know but we were supposed to keep a low profile!" Rikka exclaimed. She then turned her head back to the boy and girls and the colour in her face drained so quickly it was almost comical.

Almost.
