Warning: this is a bit of bryler but PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, THIS IS A JOSHLER FIC. Brendon and Tyler are strictly PLATONIC. just really close pals.
And also, don't play the song yet. Wait til i say to play.

Tyler stepped into brendon's house, and almost immediately he was wrapped in a warm embrace.

"Thanks for coming..."
Brendon said quietly, his voice cracking a bit.

"Have you been crying, darling?"
Tyler asked, as he pulled away and looked at his tear-stained face.
Brendon nodded, burying his face into Tyler's shoulder.

"I-I'm sorry..." brendon mumbled in between choked back sobs.

"Hey, hey you're fine. Okay? Let's go watch a movie. Or maybe I could play you something if you'd like. I brought my uke, because I know you like when I play it for you. I'll let you play with my hair, I'll even make you my special chocolate chip cookie recipe! How's that sound?" Tyler asked, a light smile tugging at his lips.

"S-sounds great, Ty."

Tyler grabbed Brendon's hand and wiped brendon's tears with the other spare hand he had.
He hated to see his best friend like this, seeing Brendon like this was absolutely heart breaking. He wanted to do all that he could to make Brendon happy again.

"Would you like me to play our song?" Tyler asked as he adjusted himself on the couch, ukulele in hand.

"Mhm. That'd be great"

Tyler then began to strum.
(Start song. Hug all your friends by cavetown)

"What's it like to be alone on a Sunday
Remembering the time you saw them just yesterday
Sing me a song, tell me your thoughts
I could listen to you all night long"
Brendon hummed along as Tyler sang, resting his head on tyler's shoulder.

"And I don't care about my sleeping routine
I fucked it up as it is but we've got so much time to kill
As the night rocks me to sleep..."

As Tyler took a breath and began the chorus, Brendon joined in.

"Life's too short to worry about things that we got wrong so hug all your friends,
let them know you're not letting go.
No I won't let go.."
They sang in unison, their voices going together perfectly in Harmony.

Brendon chuckled.

"What's so funny? Was my singing that bad?" Tyler giggled back.

"Nah, I'm just happy. Your singing was great, Ty."

Tyler put down his ukulele and snuggled up with Brendon.

The heat coming from both of the boys kept one another warm.

"Sorry for wasting your time.."

"Aw. you could never waste my time, Dear. I love you and I'll always be here for you, alright?"

"alright." Brendon nodded, nuzzling his face into Tyler's chest.

"Want to watch a movie?"

"Mhm.."

A/n; this is bad I'm sorry
