The Arrangement

-TWENTY SEVEN-

Sutton's POV

I zipped up my last suitcase and looked around at my apartment. Nothing changed at all. And soon this won't even be my apartment.

I wrote a note, saying that all my belongings will be picked up by my mom andthe rest can be donated to charity. I left it on the counter and wrote a check for this months rent. 

I'm gonna miss this place.

I checked the time. My flight leaves in 1 hour so I should get going. I grabbed my bags, and headed out the door. Saying goodbye to my first actual home.

Ethan's POV

She bit on my neck sexually and left wet kisses down my torso. Her fingers played with my belt and zipper as she eyes me with her seductive eyes. I tense up and hold my breath. She's not worth losing her for. I sit up and she climbs on my lap and tries to kiss me but I pick her up and set her on the bed. "Go to the red room." I said and she obeyed and headed straight there. Ha you though bitch.

I walked out of my room and headed to the kitchen and straight for my only source of relief... the drink.

I poured the liquor over the cold ice and the smell calmed me down. I took a breath... Bottoms up motherfucker... And numbed the heartache. It seems like the only way to at this point.

As I sipped the last drop of my drink I heard a knock on the door. I headed towards the knock and looked through the peep hole. Shit!

"Ethan I th-" "not now Kelly." I snapped and she stayed silent. "Go back upstairs." "But y-" "I said go." I demanded and she did as she was told. God I'm fucked up.

I cracked my knuckles, ran my fingers through my hair and opened the door.
"Grays-" "oh shut the fuck up." He snapped as he entered through the door and headed to the living room.
"The fuck did you just say?" I slammed the door behind him and followed him to the room. "Why?" He questioned and I raised a brow. "Why what?" I asked and he rolled his eyes. "Why did you fire her?" A lump formed in my throat and I crossed my arm across my chest. I clenched and unclenched my jaw and bit my lip. "Well..." He asked. "I got bored." I lied. "You got bored?" He scoffed and ran his fingers through his hair and then slipped them into his pocket. "That's what I said." I replied and sat on the couch. "That's bullshit." He raised his voice and I rolled my eyes. "Whats the real reason?" He asked and I got defensive. "Why do you even care? It's none of your goddamn business." I snapped and he laughed. "really? So why was I dragged into it then?"

"What are you talking about?" I asked and he was about to speak when he was interrupted by the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. "Ethan are you co- oh hi." Kelly interrupted and I face palmed. Bitch it's not the time. "That's her?" He laughed and I sat back in the couch and nodded. "She's heartbroken over that?" He said and I shot up. "What?" I asked and he just shook his head. "nothing. I gotta go." He stated then headed to the door. "Hold up!" I yelled out of him. And he turned around. "The fuck you talking about?" I asked and he whispered, "She's leaving. Go get her. " He eyeballed Kelly, rolled his eyes, then headed out the door.

"What was that all about?" Kelly asked and I just stood there. "Hello?" She asked and I ignored her and headed upstairs.

I grabbed my phone, my wallet and put on a sweatshirt and slipped on my shoes. "where are you going?" She asked and I just headed out the door.

"Taylor will escort you out. You're fired." Is the last words I said to her before I headed to the airport.
