"CJ! What are doing in there? You got to see the news now!" My roommate Alexi yelled. She was usually so quiet, most of the time I couldn't hear her from the other end of the couch.
"OKAY OKAY IM COMING! I'm What could be so... what the fu-"
"LANGUAGE CHARLIE!" I laughed at Alexi's comment because it was a reference to Avengers 2, then looked at the HNB (Hollywood News Broadcast) and it changed my life forever. I, Charlie Jen Marquart, has been chosen to be 'Spider- Girl' in the new upcoming movie 'SpiderMan Far From Home' staring Tom Holland.
"OH MY GOD!"
I ran out the door to the nearest coffee shop because I knew they had newspapers. I couldn't believe it! How could I, Charlie, be chosen to be that big role? It's unbelievable how bad my luck was before this happened!
My mom and brother had been killed last year in a horrific shooting outside of a Walmart. I lost my father when he was in the Air Force, we don't know who shot his helicopter down. So now it's just me, my sister Vista, and my best friend Alexi. Well really just me and Alexi, I haven't talked to Vista in like 5 years.
Alexi had quickly gotten on her bike to chase after me, once we got to the coffee shop I immediately ran to the newspaper stack and looked inside, it was the front page of every paper! I can't believe it, I fell to my knees overwhelmed with anxiousness, and happiness all at
once.
