I was walking down the street at night to clear my mind. My bratty little sister has been whining and crying all day knowing she couldn't attend the Why Don't We concert.

They're all she talks about. I know they're a famous boy band, but she's in too deep. She said her friends, Bella and Izzy, got her hooked on them.

The girl has posters everywhere in her room, along with merch. She follows probably 100 fanpages and she sends me edits of them all the time. They're a good band, yeah, but I'm not obsessed.

My thoughts were broken when I accidentally bumped into someone. As I was about to hit the ground, strong arms wrapped around me and stood me back up. I then met the eyes of someone I easily recognized.

I smiled brightly at him, and he smiled back. I spoke, "Hey. Sorry about that."

He laughed, "It's okay, I wasn't paying attention."

I smiled again, "You're Zach from Why Don't We, right?"

"Yeah, I am. You're a fan?"

"I mean, I know you guys. My sister is a big fan and cried that she couldn't see you guys tonight." I laughed while shaking my head.

"Well, we'll have to surprise her sometime." He suggested brightly.

I nodded, "Yeah. How long are you here for?"

Zach tapped his chin, then spoke, "I think two weeks. You live here?"

I nodded once again, "Yep. Born and raised. Maybe we could hang out before you leave?"

"Really?"

"Yeah." I paused. "I was thinking coffee?"

The band member thought for a moment before smiling at me, "I'd love to."

"Awesome." I softly grabbed his hand and wrote down my number with a sharpie from my purse. He gladly let me. "See you later."

I turned to walk in the direction of home when his voice stopped me again.

"What's your name?"

I looked over my shoulder at the boy and smiled softly.

"Valorie."
