CHAPTER ONE: THE BEGINNING OF A CASUAL DAY IN U.A HIGH.

Midoriya Izuku walked silently and slowly from his dorm to his class, his big green eyes looking down at the ground as he pondered on certain things. The past couple of days have been difficult ever since All Might retired. Its been hard to focus, but he keeps trying. Yet classes seem to be getting a bit longer than usual, and nothing truly excited has happened since then. Which made Midoriya happy in a way, and relieved he was able to finally catch his breath. He sighed, and looked up at the sky. The words which All Might had said to him on that day ran though his head:

Next, its your turn. 

Everyone had thought the words were for the villains, but Midoriya knew it was for him. The very words had brought him to tears, knowing it was the end of All Might's power. And he was the next one to hold such power. It was going to be tough to get through the rest of the year, but he knew had to do it. For All Might. For all the people who had blessed him so much in his life. 

He shook off his fears, glaring at the sky; determined. He was going to become the best hero he could, and that was a promise. He was going to do his best. And that was that.

Suddenly shaking him out of his thoughts was a very familiar voice,"Deku-kun?"it asked. Jumping out of surprise, Midoriya turned and saw none other than Uraraka Ochaco. "Uraraka-san?!"he said, surprised to see her standing next to him. The kind brown-haired girl smiled at him softly, her brown eyes seeming to sparkle a bit as she saw him,"Good morning, Deku-kun!"she said. Midoriya back off a bit, feeling flustered of how close she was,"G-good morning, Uraraka-san!"he nervously said, a tiny blush on his cheeks. So close... he thought. 

Uraraka stared at him confused, not quite understanding his flustered expression. She was about to ask him what was wrong, but yet another voice came in between the both of them. "Good morning! Midoriya-kun, Uraraka-san!"said the respectful Iida Tenya, popping up beside Midoriya as well. "A-ah, Iida-kun!"exclaimed Midoriya, smiling nervously,"G-good morning!"he replied once again. Uraraka smiled at him as well, giggling a bit,"Good morning, Iida-kun!"she replied. 

"What do you think we will be doing in class today?"asked Uraraka, wondering what more they could have to learn. Midoriya replied,"M-maybe some more combat practices, we've been needing those?"he suggested. Iida shook his head,"I feel we are going to have a regular class today. Taking notes and learning about certain limits, similar to yesterday."he replied, theorizing the lesson Aizawa-sensei would present today. Uraraka sighed,"I hope not. I really want to do some combat today!"she said, feeling restless. Midoriya understood a bit how she could be a bit restless, but then again he was still relaxed and relief the past tensions were over. So he really didn't want anymore excitement than he already had.

They finally walked into the classroom, seeing everyone standing and talking with one another. They had been through so much, it was remarkable to see everyone so cheerful and excited. Class 1-A was remarkable this year, so they had been told, and Midoriya was proud to be apart of it. As Midoriya looked at his classmates, he noticed how weirdly worked up everyone was acting. He wasn't sure what was happening today, but it must be good for everyone to be talking as much as they did.  

"Hey, Midoriya-kun, Iida-kun, Uraraka-san!"said another familiar voice. The three of them turned to see the enthusiastic red-haired Kirishima Eijirou waving at them with a shark-fanged grin. "Did you hear the news?!"he asked, excitedly. The three friends looked at each other in confusion, Uraraka was the first to look back at Kirishima,"What news?"she asked. Kirishima's red eyes shined,"There might be new students coming to Class 1-A!"he told them.
