CHAPTER SEVEN: THE TRANSFER TOURNAMENT - MIDORIYA VS MORIKAWA.

It was Midoriya Izuku's turn. He was the one to finish the Transfer Tournament, and it was causing him to be nervous than ever. He walked through the hallway, leading him to the middle of the stadium. His heart and his mind raced quickly, not prepared for who or what he might face in the fight. Though he had fought villains before and had lots more of experience, he had never failed to feel nervous at a battle.

He remembered what had happened before he had walked downstairs.

"Last contestants! Come to the middle of the stadium please!"announced Present Mic.

Midoriya gulped, his heart beating rapidly in his chest. He was the last one. And it was his turn. He stood up, shaking a bit, and starting stiffly walking to the steps. "Good luck, Deku-kun!"his good friend Uraraka Ochaco had called after him,"We'll be cheering for you!"she said. Iida Tenya smiled and called after him as well,"Yeah! Do your best, Midroiya-kun!"he said. Midoriya looked back at his classmates, who all seemed to be smiling and giving him thumbs up (that is except for Bakugo Katsuki). He then gave a nervous smile, and waved goodbye to them.

"Yeah. I will!"he told them.

Midoriya breathed out carefully, remembering how his classmates' smiles had chased away the nervousness for a single moment, but it had returned with full force. He stared at his hands, remembering all he had learned. yes, he had learned a lot. So why should he be so scared about someone or something that didn't have as much experience as he did? Shaking off a few his fears, he clutched his hand into a fist and stared up at the opened door beyond him. If he was going to do this, it was going to be with the very best that he could give.

As he made that decision in his mind, he saw a familiar figure standing in the hallway next to the opened doorway. He was confused on who it was at first but then quickly realized,"All Might!"he said loud, instantly lighting up and he ran towards him.

The weakened state of All Might, something Midoriya was very much used to, smiled at him as he arrived in front of him. "I wanted to see you before you went out."said All Might,"How are you feeling, Young Midoriya?"he asked. The green haired boy smiled anxiously up at him,"A little nervous..."he admitted, shyly. All Might cocked his head to the side,"Nervous? Whatever for?"he asked.

Midoriya shrugged a bit,"I don't know. I just... I don't know who I am going to fight or what quirk they are going to have... I just feel like I'm not really prepared... And I don't want to disappoint you either.."he admitted. All Might, finally realizing why, smiled softly and ruffled his hair,"Young Midoriya, you can't disappoint me. All I ask is that you give your all, and try your best. Win or lose, you will still learn and grow. You are more than prepared."he reassured him. Midoriya smiled, determined now, and happy to have his assurance.

"Now go out there and show 'em who's boss!"

"Y-Yeah!"

Midoriya walked on, giving a tiny wave to All Might who returned it, and then he turned and continued out of the hallway ready to face whatever came.

He soon stood out of the doorway, surprised to hear the loud voice of Present Mic. "From Class 1-A, a curious kid who's shown tremendous growth throughout everything we've thrown at 'em! Coming in as one of the last contestants... MIDORIYA IZUKU!"he announced.
