I finished my art project early so I had a bunch of free time in art class today and I listened to who lives who died who tells your story mORE TIMES THAN ID LIKE TO ADMIT
listen i know it's like the most depressing song on the whole soundtrack but it's so pretty and i love eliza more than life itself and it's such a pretty song and?????? when i saw it live in april i cried so much it's such a beautifully composed and executed song and uGHHHHHH IT MAKES MY HEART SORE IN THE BEST WAY

and now that im out of art to share uH lemme tell ya about this neat dude!!
okay so today we had an author visit our school and his name was Alex London. idk if y'all had ever heard of him (i hadn't so i wasn't originally planning on going to his talk but our whole english class got signed up since it was happening during our hour lol) and hE WAS SO NEAT
he talked about the typical author visit stuff like how he got started writing and how he did his research and stuff (he also showed a letter he wrote in sixth grade to his future self. it was kinda hillarious.) but he also talked about the importance of representation and reaching out to an audience!! apparently he has a lot of lgbt+ characters in his stories and im like hEY THATS SUPER SNAZZY MY MAN
his stories also sound super interesting and i want to read his new one asap (its called Black Wings Beating and i would've bought a signed copy today if i had any mONEY) and i feel like if y'all like fanatasy or adventure you'd probably like his stuff (or that's what i got from his presentation lol)
