As Lincoln, Luna, Goku, Vegeta, Champa, and Vados went off to Universe 6; Lynn Loud looked up at the sky with nothing but sorrow. She felt mad and didn't know why, she sat there until she heard "You look upset, mind telling an old man what's got you so angry?" and she turned around to see Master Roshi
"Oh, hey," she replied with a somber voice
"Yeah I know an angry chick when I see it, wanna talk about it?" said Roshi as he sat down next to her "Mind if I smoke?"
"Go ahead," replied Lynn as he lit his pipe
"Ah, you know it's nice for these old bones to take a rest now and then," said Roshi as he blew some smoke
"What are you talking about? I've seen what you can do, you act like a child," said Lynn as Roshi chuckled
"That I do, that I do... but it's relaxing to stop and smell the roses once and a while, ya know," replied Roshi as Lynn made a small smile
"I guess you're right,"
"Of course I'm right, I'm 300 years older than you," said Roshi as Lynn laughed a little bit
"Yeah, forgot about that," she said as they both stared up at the sky. They sat in silence as Roshi smoked on his pipe "I feel useless," Lynn said out of the blue
"Useless, why's that?" asked Roshi
"I-I just feel like I'm so... helpless; Lincoln and Luna, they're so powerful! I wanna be out there too, helping them stop the rest of the Sins and this 'King' guy, but I can't... because I'm human," said Lynn as Roshi listened "I wanna help, I really do, but how can I help when I keep getting beaten by a 6-year-old at Times 10 Gravity?! I wanna help them and I can't!" she continued to say as she started crying
"I see," whispered Roshi
"I wanna be strong! I wanna help them! I wanna be like them! B-but I'm not an angle! I'm not a Sayain! Hell, I'm not even a Namekian! I-I'm just Lynn Loud Jr.... a human," said Lynn through her tears as Roshi blew some smoke from his mouth
"You know... I'm human also," said Roshi
"B-but you drank from the Foutain of Youth, technically you have more experience than me by a long shot and you've time to perfect your techniques! I don't have that time!" cried Lynn as she hit the ground. Roshi looked at her as he sighed and blew more smoke "You're right, you don't have that kind of time... but look at Tien, look at Krillin! They're younger than me by decades and Krillin is the strongest human on Earth! Tien is nearly his equal but he still gets beaten!" said Roshi as Lynn looked at him
"R-really?" asked Lynn
"Of course, now I have a question for you, Lynn Loud Jr.... are you really one to give up? I've heard stories from your family and I must say, you have the same fire in your heart as Goku and Krillin did when they first started out," said Roshi
"Y-you think so?" asked Lynn
"Young lady, I know so," replied Roshi as he stood up and started walking away "now come with me, we have much to do,"
"W-what are you talking about?" asked Lynn
"It's been getting boring at Kame House, I need something to do; so why not become another one of my students?" said Roshi with a smile as Lynn sprung up from the ground
"R-really?" asked Lynn
"Why not? Now let's hurry along, I don't we have much time before they end their training," said Roshi as he went into a light jog, with Lynn following behind him with a smile
Back With Lincoln When He Got to Champas' Planet:
Lincoln was sparring with Vados as Champa and Luna were fighting next to them. They where using Vados dimension as Lincoln needed training with his staff. Vados messed with the time dilation in the dimension so that a few minutes outside would be a few years inside. Outside, however, Goku and Vegeta were eating when they heard a knock on the door "I wonder who that could be?" said Goku
"I'll get it," said Vegeta as he walked over to the door of Champas' home and opened it to show a gender-bent loud family, the Santiago family, what appeared to be a gender-bent Mcbride family, the androids, a blue Mr. Popo, Cabba, Caulifla, Kale, and... one tall Android 23 "Kakarot! We have company!"
"Who is it?" asked Goku
"I don't know, get Lincoln and Luna!" said Vegeta as Goku tapped on the staff and they all came out looking like they had been through a tornado
"What do you need, Goku?" asked Lincoln as he rolled his shoulders
"There are some people at the door, they look like your family but I'm not sure," said Goku as Lincoln looked over at the door and saw 23
"23?" he asked as he walked over to 23, who held his head down. Lincoln was about as tall as 23 as he looked at him "23... wow, guess they do really grow up fast," Lincoln said
"D-dad... I-I'm sorry, b-but mom is-"
"I know, son, I know," said Lincoln as 23 started to cry "can you all give me a minute with him?"
"Take your time, Linc, I'm going back in with Champa and Vados," said Luna
"Count us in!" said Goku as Vegeta followed suit. Then the loud family of Universe looked at the two "Wait a minute, you're that guy from Brupin' Burger!" said Loni
"I swear we went over this before," said 18
"Yes we did, now can we all please leave Lincoln and 23 alone to talk?" said Dr. Gero as they all followed him, but the Clyde of universe 6 stayed behind real quick and got a good look at Lincoln
"Oh my god, he's hot!" she whispered as she went to catch up with the group. When Lincoln and 23 were alone, 23 broke down in tears as he started talking "I-I d-don't know w-what happ-ened, f-first there w-was this a-armor guy a-and then-then it w-was nothing b-but black! A-and w-when I-I woke up, t-they s-said m-mom was d-dead!" he stuttered through his tears
"What happened next?" asked Lincoln
"I-I went t-to see i-if it was tru-ue a-and t-then t-this n-naked lady c-came out of no-nowhere and-and s-she said s-she was g-going to k-kill ev-everyone! T-the it w-was n-nothing but r-red!" said 23 "M-my body g-got stronger a-and I f-felt more c-complete, b-but at the s-same time... I-I lost a p-part of me, I-I went i-into a r-rage and-and I killed her! I killed her! I killed somebody! I-I don't know how to handle that!" he cried as Lincoln hugged him
"23, listen to me-"
"N-no, y-you t-think I-I'm a monster!" said 23 as he cried
"23... I've killed many times before," said Lincoln as 23 looked at his fathers' face
"R-really?" he asked
"Yeah, and let me tell you something; I don't feel bad about it at all," said Lincoln with a small smile
"B-but y-you took somebodies life! H-How can you?" asked 23 in horror
"23, the people I killed did terrible things during their lifetime," said Lincoln
"L-Like what?" asked 23
"Murder, theft, rape, you name it, but I killed them knowing that the universe would be a better place," stated Lincoln
"S-so you killed them, knowing that it would b-be for the best?" asked 23 as he dried his tears
"Yes, I did," said Lincoln as he exited the hug. They looked at each other as 23 said: "C-can I have something to eat?"
"Sure, son, sure," Lincoln replied as he took 23 to the kitchen
