I have an ultrasound today to see how the baby is. I'm not that worried anymore except the fact that I actually have to tell Eric I'm pregnant. I went to the doctor's by myself today cause I realised I'll be coming to alot of appointments and I won't always have someone to come with me.
"Miss Johnson" The doctor said
"Here" I replied
"Hello I'm Doctor Valentine" She told me
"Nice to meet you, my names Aaliyah" I said as she led me into her room
She told me to lay down on the bed so I did and pulled my t-shirt up to my ribs.
She put this gel stuff on my tummy to help her see the baby. She was moving her thing around for a bit then she found the baby.
"Hmm" the doctor said
"What's the matter with the baby?" I asked her
"Nothing at the moment I'm just trying to find it's heartbeat" She replied
I started to get scared that I might loose the baby.
"Have you found it yet?" I said worryingly
"I'm afraid I can't find its heart beat Miss Johnson"
"What do you mean?" "How would this have happened?" I said sadly😭
"I'm sorry, you've lost the baby" the doctor replied
I just started crying.
"I'll give you some time to process but we will call you for an update later next week"
the doctor told me as she led me out the door
