The first thing I saw at the mirror is a blonde guy wearing a coat and tie. Tonight is the birthday celebration of Sir Hermes that he so kindly invited me. Good thing that the venue is not too far. When I heard the doorbell I immediately went down to our front door.
"Don't you look handsome" Mom said.
"Thanks mom" I thank her "Well what do you think" I turned
"It suites you darling, your hair and eyes stands out" she said and look at our wall clock "Now of you go, be back before 12mn. Okay?" she added
"Of course" I answered. I think it's time "I got to go, see you later" I said and kiss her cheek.
It took at least 45 minutes going to the venue. It's luxurious club house! Oh my god! I got in to the club house and I showed my invitation through my phone. The people in the venue looks very rich and I don't know why I'm here. I think I need to look for Sir Hermes and take my leave. I don't belong here. While walking around waiters kept offering me a glass of wine so I took it, because it's really difficult to look for who I came for.
"Angel Prince!" a familiar voice called out
"Hera, hello. How are you?" I ask her. Hera looks really pretty with her pink cocktail dress
"You came!" she said happily "Grampa, brother and I were looking for you" he turned to her grandfather will pulling his sleeve
"Your brother?" I ask, now that she mention it. I do remember that there is another grandchild of sir Hermes was going at the school last time.
"Freak?" Owww.... This is a small world. I wasn't mentally ready to face him right now to be honest after what happened yesterday. "What are you doing here?" he asks
"I was invited here, you?" I answered
"Here you are Alexis" Sir Hermes appeared "So you already met my other grandchild. Apollo" Now I get it.... Hermes, Hera and Apollo.... The Greek Gods... Figures!
"Frea--- Alexis is in four of my classes" Wow, I'm quite speechless with that. The name 'Freak' for me is already installed to his mind. "And he calls me Geo, grandpa. Apollo sounds.... Very formal when I hear it" That made my eyes widen. I thought he doesn't want me to call him that.
"That's your name, be proud of it. But it's okay to call you nicknames, specially if those people are close to you" Sir Hermes said.
"I guess you're right" Apollo said and gave a weak smile to his grandfather.
"He's the one I'm telling you brother. He is the one that I'm going to marry" Hera said while pulling Apollo's sleeve.
"Really now?" he ask his sister with amused facial expression.
"Yeah, actually I forgot to tell you that I'm already engaged to your sister" I release a soft giggle
"This is good, now you met my two grandchildren. I'm really glad that you came my boy. The truth was I was paranoid that you wouldn't come" Sir Hermes said.
"Why would you think of that wouldn't come sir?" I ask him
"It's really rare that children now a days would accept an invitation coming from an old man. That is why I'm happy that you came tonight" he said.
