Marella attends a prestigious school in California. She's different from other females. As a muslim girl growing up in the west, she faces numerous challenges. (avoiding boys, lowering your gaze, being humble, dressing modestly). She starts surrounding herself with negative people and slowly starts to lose her faith in return. She meets a white typical all american boy named Justin. He influences her to do many things and bits by bits she loses her identity. This novel is not your typical cliche novel.
