Devansh
Dad never brings office matters to the dining table but he did and calmed down so easily.
I don't understand the sudden behavioural changes of my dad and senior. I don't understand why I'm so anxious to meet Aathira or why the thought of her is making me yearn for her as if I have lost her once and want her back.
Never did a girl have this much of an effect as Aathira does to me. I have only heard her voice once and only two hours ago I knew her name and saw her face. But within a short span of hours, she completely changed my day and my needs. Even four years ago when I had a glimpse of her, without seeing her face she made me go crazy for days. One thing is for sure, this girl is really a trouble. I have to get rid of her from my mind and I'll do anything to achieve it.
Even if I have to fuck her minds off.
Finishing the dinner, we leave the restaurant and walk towards where my father has parked their car. "OK, junior, I'll send you the dress to wear for tomorrow." My senior pats my shoulder as my dad gets into the driver seat of the car.
"I'll manage, senior." He gives me a doubtful look. "Don't worry I'll be there dressed up traditionally." I helped him to sit on the passenger seat next to dad.
"Good. See you tomorrow, Junior." He pats my cheeks before pinching it and kissing his fingers as if I'm still a little boy.
"See you tomorrow, Senior." I close the car door for him and wave at my dad. "Bye pa."
"Bye, Ansh." He drives off and I watch their car getting mixed into the London traffic.
I walk towards the spot where I have parked my car with a smile on my face knowing that they will be taking a long route and enjoy a night drive. Ever since I moved out of the mansion, I miss those long night drives after having dinner outside.
Though our family shifted our roots to London somewhere around the 1920s, we still live together as a family. But my senior and dad used to wait for me late at night until I returned home. So, I decided to move out not wanting to stress them. For the next dinner night, I should better go to the mansion, leave my car there and enjoy the night with them.
I get into my car and drive towards the apartment building where my penthouse that I bought four years ago is situated on the twenty-fourth floor. On the way, I call Lawrence and he picks up on the fifth ring. "Hey buddy, wassup for tomorrow?"
"Haven't decided yet, Dev. It's my weekly off tomorrow, do you have anything up your mind?" As he is a detective inspector, he can take an on-call day off according to his workload.
"Actually, yeah. I want you to come accompany me and my senior to the Independence Day event." I hear him turning off the alarm system and dropping his keys and I guess that he had reached his house.
"Holy shit! Are you serious? You have never been there before. What happened this time?" He asks me in astonishment. But he himself answers his question. "Don't tell me you are attending the event, so that you can meet her, what's her name?"
"Aathira, her name is Aathira. You gave me the details and so soon forgot?" I scoffed. "And yes, I'm going there to meet her and I feel it could be better if you are with me." I drum my fingers on the steering wheel as I drive through the traffic.
"No way!! You remember this girl's name? And I don't understand why you are so interested in this girl. But let me warn you beforehand. I guess you can't get your way with her. For fuck's sake, she is an Indian who was born and brought up in India and came her to work onsite. You are of Indian origin and you must be knowing this. As far as I know, they are brought up to be married off in an arranged marriage setup and they don't do pre-marital sex."
