Chapter 6

Chad's P.O.V.

I wake up the next day, hearing birds singing. I look down at Stella, still sleeping. I smile down at her and kiss the top of her head. I slowly get up, making sure I don't wake her up. I stand up and stand at the entrance of the cave.

I check my surrounding and have a bad feeling that people are watching. I continue looking around and see no one. I walk back into the cave and look down at Stella as she is crying a bit and curled up into a ball. I kneel next to her and wake her up. She wakes up and looks up at me.

"You okay, Stella?" I ask her as she breathes a bit heavy. "Stella, did you have a nightmare?" I ask her as she controlls her breathing and she nods. I pull her into my arms and hug her, hoping to comfurt her. I wipe her tears away and I hear a stick break outside the cave.

I quickly outside the cave and I see a man standing outaide the cave. "Who are you?" I ask, some what growling.

"Excuse me, sir but is your name chad by any chance?" He asks standing up straight with his hands beingmd his back.

"Who's asking?" I ask as I stand up with Stella behind me.

"The king, sir. King Travis. The king has been looking for you and wants to speak with you." He says.

"When does he want to see me?" I ask him

"Right now sir. We have a horse all satteled and ready for you." He say as he turns and brings a horse infront the entrance of the cave.

"Okay, I'll go, but on one condition. She comes with me." I say as Stella stands next to me.

"Of course sir. She is more than welcome to come. We better hurry. The king is waiting." He says as he bring another horse and sit on it. Stella and I make our to the the one horse he brought and he both sit on him. Stella sitting in front of my me as I sit beind her.

"Follow me sir." He says as he starts leading his horse with us behind him.

"Excuse me, but what's your name?" Stella asks. As I think, he never mentioned his name. He turns his head and say, "Alexander. But you can call me Alex. Everyone at the castle does." He says as he make it out of the trees and onto a path.

We continue going down the path until be come upon a large gate and behind it, a castle. Stella and I are in awe of the castles beauty.

Then we see Alex get off of his horse and walks to the right side of the gate and pulls a rope. I look up and see a small window. I see a guy peek out of it, then goes back in. Then the gate opens. Alex gets back on his horse and leads us into the castle grounds. We stop at the front steps on the castle and we get off the horses. I get off the horse first and help Stella down.

Alex then leads us into the castle as someone takes our horses. Alex opens the front doors and we walk into a big hallway. We walk down here for a few seconds until we walk into another room. As we walk in, I see a thrown as the back. Must be the thrown room. We stop at the center of the room and Alex says, "Please stay here. I'm gonna get the king." Then he turns on his heal and goes behind the thrown and walks through a door.

I sigh to myself as I take everything in. Stella looks at me and asks, "Is everything okay?"

"Yea, just don't know why we're here and what the king wants." I tell her as I wrap my arm around her waist.

Then we hear a door open. We both look at the door behind the thrown and we see the king and Alex behind him. The king looks at me for a few seconds and says, "Chad, welcome. I'm so glad my men has finally found you." Stella and I bow our heads to him and I say, "Excuse me your majesty, buy how do you know my name and why have you been looking for me?"

"Chad, you're my lost son. You're also the next heir to the throne." I gasp at what he says and Stella looks up at me.
