Blaze Flameheart hates hospitals. The fact that he can't smoke as he likes puts him in a very bad mood -no one in his or her right mind would want Blaze in a bad mood- and this makes him to think setting the whole place on fire, but that would get him into a trouble with Jane Smith and that sole idea give him chills -if he really could feel cold of course-, so he tries to calm down and focus on the usual protocol of his visits. The last mission left no time to pay a visit last week and even thought the boss Douglas Malory told him everything was fine, Blaze does not like it when Jane Smith stays alone for too long. Now he has get up to date and finish the current book he has been reading for the last few visits and begin the next book in the following week, if there is no abyssal incursions or some other world ending event that keeps him from doing so of course. Blaze tells his irresponsive companion that in the beginning he hated that novel, "too corny" he said, and the mere idea of vampires glowing like diamonds when exposed to sunlight was almost unbearable for him. But Blaze knew how Jane Smith loves that kind of juvenile garbage, and the more he reads the misadventures of the emo girl and the vegan nosferatu, the ensuing battle between canine changelings and rich bloodsuckers was so appealing that he is sure he will enjoy it. Jane Smith is silent on her bed as always, the glare of the Helios tear flowers carefully set by Blaze in the blue jar near the window make her red hair shine like the flames of Mount Vesuvius back in the day. Sometimes Blaze pauses his reading to tell Jane Smith about the new recruit Jimmy Hunter and the mess he causes while training with his recently awaken mystic powers. The kid is annoying as hell, but admits he is a fast learner and has a potential that leaves the analysis team without words, "much like you when we first met" says Blaze, waiting for some kind of reaction from his dormant friend. Suddenly getting tongue tight, Blaze stands from his chair and walks toward the window, when he is about to light a cigarette, he remembers where he is and a "sonova...." escapes his mouth like a whisper, immediately turning his head hoping for the usual scolding from Jane Smith.........nothing. After a sigh of resignation, Blaze looks at his watch and decides it is all for today's visit. He checks the glyphs of warding installed over the room, Blaze walks closer to the bed and covers Jane Smith with the mantle of Shen Lu -keeps buggies at bay says Jimmy Hunter-, and with a "till next time, imp" he walks out of the room. In an unknown location, Douglas Malory watches through a monitor screen how Blaze leaves the room 237, he adjust his glasses and out of nowhere, a human figure is standing in front of Jane Smith's bed. The blond girl known only as Warp is now looking directly to the surveillance camera in the room, as if she was looking at Douglas Malory's blue eyes and he at the same time looking back at her crimson eyes. After what felts like a no blinking contest, the new visitor winks an eye to the camera and turns her attention to the patient on the bed, the physical appearance between the two women is so similar that is amazing, sisters maybe, who knows. Douglas Malory watches attentive as he strikes the letters in his keyboard, "SESSION #13: Starting now".
