Lee ran to the back yard and used the trees to scale her way up the side of the house and onto the roof. She didn't know why she was up there but she just wanted to get away from everyone and everything. After about 2 minutes, she heard a window open and footsteps behind her. "Hey." Finn said standing behind Lee. "Go away." She said sniffling. "I'm not leaving you here alone." "I said go away." "Nope." "Go the f*ck away Finn." "I'm not leaving you alone on the roof of a 2 story house. Not after what happened a few months ago."
Finn sat down on the roof a few feet away from Lee, just to give her some space. "Finn, please." "Just act like I'm not here." And that's what she did. They just sat there on the roof for a few minutes. Finally, Finn moved next to her and put his arm around her shoulder. "Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked in a soft voice. "Yes."
"Wow. That's a lot. I'm so sorry." "It's fine, I just kinda hoped that having him back in our lives would make things normal." Finn hugged Lee and he looked into her eyes and their lips met. As they pulled away Finn felt bad. "I'm sorry." "For what?" "That." "Don't be. I didn't mind it." They smiled and then Lee was horrified. "I need to go apologize to Joe. Holy sh*t!" She jumped up and quickly ran to tell her brother she was sorry.
"It's fine Lee. I just wish you didn't have to see that."He had several slap marks all over his chest. "I didn't know I could hit so hard." Joe laughed and hugged his baby sister.
