Your pov.
You looked outside it was beautiful in London today the sun was out and it was warm not to warm but warm enough maybe even to go to a beach and go swimming. As you thought that a ideal popped into your head you walked into your living room where your boyfriend Dan was on his computer.
"hey Daniel" you said walking over and sitting next to him
"hey y/n" he said still looking at his computer
"i have a ideal" you said
"and what might that ideal be?" he asked still looking at his computer
"we should go to the beach" you said smiling
he looked up from his computer at you "you want me to go to a beach?" he said
"yes" you said laughing a bit
"why it's hot out there and there is people and there is light" he said sadly
"we can't stay in the house forever Daniel come on it will be fun!" you insisted
"fine" he said
"yay!" you said getting up and running in your room and getting your swimsuit and you grabbed everything else you needed for the beach. towels, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a water bottle and went back downstairs to the living room.
"you ready?" you asked as Dan stood up closing his computer and setting it on the couch
"yep" he said
The ride to the beach was not really that long seeing as you guys lived only a couple miles away after about maybe 10 minutes you guys got there. you instantly ran to the bathroom and changed into your swimsuit and went back out the bathroom. you went and found a place to set your stuff and lay the towels out well waiting for Dan to get out the bathroom. once you finished setting everything up you saw Dan walking over.
"okay so i got everything before we left we can either swim first or go get slushy's or ice cream wait but i want both would it be to much to put the ice cream in the slushy?" you rambled on like you usually did Dan didn't mind it though he thought it was cute.
"how about we go swimming before you go and eat a bunch of sweets and go crazy" Dan laughed. that usually happened every time you had to much sugar you would go crazy like a child and get all hyper and then after awhile you would just get tired and pass out.
"okay" you smiled running to the lake and jumping in it was kinda cold Dan laughed and ran in after you. You guys swam for awhile probably for about a hour tell you got tired and decided it was time for a slushy or ice cream you hadn't decided which one you wanted yet.
"okay so i want ice cream but then i want a slushy but the ice cream might melt but the slushy might not probably melt as fast what do you want?" you asked Dan stopping yourself from rambling to long.
"a slushy" he said smiling as you guys walked up to the little drink/food stand.
"i guess i will get a slushy too" you said deciding just a slushy would be fine you could always buy ice cream later at a ice cream shop in town or something. soon after waiting in the small line of maybe 4 people it was your guy's turn to order you guys ordered your slushy's and payed for them. the lady behind the counter made them and handed them to you guy's you thanked her and then you guy's went back to where your stuff was and sat on the towel. you looked around well drinking your slushy there wasn't that many people at the beach which was odd seeing as it was really nice out.
"wait a minute did you put sunscreen on?" Dan asked you your eyes widened you hated sun burns and you probably had one seeing as you did forget.
"no i forgot" you said sadly
"we should probably get going so you don't get anymore sun burnt" Dan said standing up picking up the bag full of your guy's stuff.
"yeah your right" you said standing up you grabbed the towel that you guy's were previously sitting on and went to the car Dan following. after awhile you guy's got back to your house and walking inside you realized yep you did get sun burnt.
