Your pov.
Spicy or chicken ramen? you thought to yourself holding both the packages up, staring at them contently as if your life depended on it. Well it kind of does seeing as you need food to survive and live and if you can't decide then you can't eat dinner and that would be skipping a meal and-. your thoughts were cut off by the only other person in the tiny convenience store, the cashier.
"I would personally pick the spicy one, but the chicken one is pretty tasty too" the young man looking around twenty said smiling.
"I love the spicy one but i can't really tolerate spicy stuff" you said looking down embarrassed.
"Hmm, that's okay, here's a solution, buy both and mix half the spicy seasoning in with the chicken ramen, it will be good and you can have both" he said still smiling confidently. you laughed a little and looked at him.
"good idea, but how can i be sure this is kindness or you trying to get more sales?" you asked raising a eyebrow and walking up to the counter.
"Hmm guess your just gonna have to trust me" he said.
"oh i almost forgot! i'm sorry, give me one minute" you said and ran to the back of the store and grabbed a drink and ran back setting it on the counter. he laughed and started scanning the food, you looked at him and noticed his name tag.
"johnny? nice name" you said, he looked at you frightened for a minute but then remembered he had a name tag and laughed a bit trying to play it cool.
"thanks, and yours?" he asked, putting the food in a bag and handing it to you.
"y/n, also i haven't paid yet" you said refusing to take the bag.
"it's on me y/n, make sure to tell me if the solution works" he smiled.
"oh wow thank you so much, and i will make sure to tell you" you grabbed the bag, walking to the door.
"see ya y/n" johnny smiled and waved to you as you walked out.
