Your pov.
"alright the the trees up!" you say walking backwards from the tree to look at your work. you put the tree up josh offered to but you like too.
"it looks great! but not as great as you" josh says walking over from the kitchen where he was making hot chocolate. speaking of that he was holding two cups with hot chocolate in them.
"thanks but it will look even better once we decorate it! you got the decorations right?" you asked looking over at josh as he handed you a hot chocolate and you took a sip.
"um....about....that..." he says. you look at him with a confused look."
"we have none" he says looking down.
"we what?!"you say freaking out.
"i thought we did i searched everywhere but i can't find them" he says quietly.
"it's fine we will just have to go to target and get some" you smile at him reassuringly.
"really?" he ask looking up at you.
"of course!" you say smiling and he smiles.
"okay" he says.
Skip to Target
"what about these it would match the tree" you says holding up a pack of gold and silver tree ornaments.
"yeah or these ones" he says holding up a pack of red and green ornaments. you frown.
"but these match are tree are tree is white" you say.
"the red and green will still match the tree we should have gotten a real green tree anyways" he says.
"oh really! we shouldn't have gotten a tree at all in the first place" you say and put the pack of ornaments back on the shelf and start walking away clearly upset.
"no i didn't mean it like that- y/n" josh says walking after you. you ignore him and keep walking.
"y/n" he says still walking after you. you still keep walking ignoring him.
"y/n i like the tree" he says. you stopped walking and turned around.
"oh really doesn't seem like it from what you just said" you say crossing your arms.
"no i didn't mean it like that i love are tree" he says.
"we could have gotten a real tree if you wanted" you say.
"no no it's fine" he says "wanna go get decorations now?". you smile.
"sure" you smile.
Skip back to the house
"okay that's the last ornament" you say smiling looking at josh.
"i'm happy we went with the sliver and gold ornaments" he says smiling.
"me too just one thing how are we gonna get the angel on the tree?" you say.
"we can't put you on the tree" josh says smiling as he walks over.
"haha thanks but seriously" you say. he walks over and grabs a chair and sets it down in front of the tree.
"oh yeah your smart" you say laughing. seeing as you didn't think of that before.
"yep" he smiles.
"alright" you say and stand on the chair "okay can you hand me the angel and no don't make any jokes" you say smiling and josh laughs then hands you the angel. you start putting the angel on the tree when the chair starts to wobble.
"ahh!" you say as you fall over on to the tree and it falls over with you on it and you fall to the ground. and you hear all the ornaments break. josh runs over to you.
"Are you okay?!" he says helping you up.
"yeah" you say laughing. josh gave you a confused look.
"we might have to get those red and green ornaments now" you say laughing. josh laughs.
"i love you" he says.
